The decor throughout was fabulous. The owners were warm and welcoming and really helpful. The grounds were perfect for dogs. The bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent and so was the complimentary breakfast!

A beautiful old building right next to the city walls.
As with a lot of Paradores, the standard rooms tend to be on the small side, and fitting out much the same. so probably is worth booking a superior room.
It was quite difficult to.find especially as there were road closures due to works going on at the time but once there, parking is not a problem
