the place is in middle of a small quiz town with a lot of charm. the hotel itself feels very new we like the air flow in our room (rooms don't have ac but actually you don't need it because of the stones covering the room and the building)
the room is very very clean and the owner is responsive

The peace and quiet, the history of how Antonio gave the building some TLC, and the ground itself that the building is on. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and the friendly Magpie who came and sat on my shoulder and shared a biscuit with me. We loved the owls flying over at night, such a pleasure to watch while sitting under a tree. We also liked Antonio who seems to get a bad rap, he was friendly, informative and although he sold us the most expensive items on his menu, along with the most expensive wine we enjoyed it all (and to be fair, you can always say no and choose something cheaper if you wish, but we asked for recommendations and he gave them) along with the story that went with it, we liked the map of the area and the details he explained to us. The food was delightful and we really loved the steak and the ragu - thanks Antonio, we will return on our next trip to the North!
