This little Spanish b and b is exceptional, it’s so cute and rustic and the breakfast is superb. Staff are absolutely amazing, so kind, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The locals are above and beyond friendly and the little bars are real Spain bars. Love love this little town, everything about it is amazing. Can’t wait to go back and see everyone next year

Nice location in beautiful surroundings. The pool is great too. Linda was very nice and accommodating and made me feel very comfortable. There are two restaurants within walking distance- went to el Molino which was very good and had a nice ambiance. My dog was also very happy with his stay!
Enjoying outstanding views over the mountains and valley below, this lovingly restored country estate is the ideal place for a rural getaway in Andalusia

Jaw-dropping views - simply spectacular. Beautiful room, modern clean and stylishly designed. With two windows, with spectacular views.
Pool clean, quiet and incredible position - overlooking mountains. Delightful garden with recliners, to right.
As a yoga retreat centre, there is a lovely yoga shala which guests can use, equipped with mats etc and I really enjoyed this. Well-equipped kitchen with plenty of basics and even food / drinks left from previous guests. An incredible place to relax, in pristine surroundings. Family owned, and perfect. A real retreat.

This hotel seriously needs to have some rooms with twin beds. I don’t want to share with my grown up daughter. I find it hard to get to sleep and don’t want to disturb her. That’s why I slept on the floor ages 73!
I asked for milk for my tea for the room, they said it’s too hot to leave milk out. There is a fridge in the room ! plus they can purchase mini milk cartons as usually found in hotels.
Seems they are only interested in stocking and selling from the mini bar fridge, sadly not milk!
Breakfast staff (1) only spoke Spanish, was very difficult to get an English style cup of tea. We felt like we were being awkward but all we wanted was black tea with some milk.
Their method of serving breakfast seemed to designed around being skimpy. What they dished up on one plate to share for 2 people was very poor. The bread was old and dry. It’s not cheap so they can afford to make changes.

Los Romanes is a traditional Spanish village on top of a mountain with beautiful scenery. The views across Lake Vinuela and surrounding countryside are breathtaking. You really need a car as it is quite remote. Make it your base and visit/discover the other villages in the area. There are 2/3 places to eat and drink. The local people are very welcoming.
