The hosts made our stay so relaxing. Elaine especially was so helpful with her in-depth knowledge of the area. She couldn’t do enough for you. The bedrooms are very spacious and equipped with a fridge, and there is also a communal kitchen for guests to use which, for us, was another big bonus. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially the sunrise. Breakfast was delicious. I can highly recommend Elaine’s scrambled eggs; so tasty. Our stay was simply ‘perfect’ in every way. A lovely rural place which we needed at that stage in our road trip. We managed to book last minute and were welcomed by Rolf on arrival. The property has a nice sized saltwater pool and plenty of beds and seating around it. One part has a netted area which was great because there are so many flies. Our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. There was no oven or microwave so we had to change our cooking plans but this was not an issue. Although there was no air con in our room, the ceiling fan kept air circulating and we had a nice sleep. We had a small private area to sit out and spent the end of our evening stargazing which was lovely!

We loved Casita Etherose, the views are simply stunning and the casita is very comfortable and had everything we needed, beds were comfy and the hosts were on hand if we needed anything (which we didn't, everything went so smoothly) but also gave us privacy. Debbie and Mark are the best hosts you could hope for, they were so welcoming and we really appreciated the advice they were able to give to us (we plan to move here this year). We didn't use the pool as we came in winter (we were welcomed with a roaring fire) but the pool and BBQ area is really lovely and we are looking forward to using it in the summer when we will be back, the views around the house are out of this world and the night sky is something to behold. In terms of location, we loved the fact that you are in the country and it is peaceful and very quiet but also just over two miles from an autovia. The casita was easy to find and in a great location for getting around, we went to Almeria, Alicante, Aguilas, Huercal Overa, Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco, Albox, Cabo de Gato, San Jose and all were easy to get to.
