An absolutely stunning house! The location, the view, the furnishings, and the welcome. Excellent breakfast.
Loved our room on the top floor with a huge, super comfortable bed, drench shower, tub bath, and spacious seating area with TV. Everything you could wish for and all very stylish. Our host was charming and helpful. We arrived to a warm welcome and left wanting to return.

Not a very interesting town in itself, it is very well located though, and we used it as a base to do daily trips to Les Angles and Font Romeu. During the week most of the restaurants are closed, so make sure to reserve at one of the few that are open.

We were only there for one night.
We were only there for one night. But we really appreciated the friendliness of the locals. Every one we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
There was the checker at the little grocery where we bought snacks- she literally RAN back to the scale where we were supposed to have weighed the sweets we wanted in order to get us checked out properly.
There was the bar owner where we stopped for a couple of pre-dinner libations. He kept coming outside where we were seated to check on us - despite the fact that he had a full house inside, and made sure that we had extra olives, even though we had not ordered tapas
And then there were the owners of the little restaurant that we ended up eating at because the place we thought we were going to have dinner was closed for a family emergency.
This was the Antic Can Marcell. They specialize in Catalan cuisine. They are a husband/wife (we assume) team, she in the front and he in the back. It was cold, we were "lost" and not used to 8pm dinner time. She let us in to sit at the bar, with a beer, a few minutes early...
And then we were seated for dinner. We do not speak Spanish or Catalan. She did not speak English or French. We proceeded to have fun navigating the menu and ordering. It was a very special tourist moment. Thank God she put up with us.
All that being said - the food and service was truly, very truly, really good.
Really- go there.
The hotel has been renovated from an old courtyard farmhouse to a high standard. The owners (who served breakfast) are a lovely, polite and kind couple. The bathrooms had excellent showers with underfloor heating. Breakfast was served by the owners and all the food was to a high standard. Communal areas were cleaned everyday and the whole place had an air of quiet and calm.
Excellent stay, helpful, friendly staff. Good size room with minimal facilities. Easy off street parking in front of the hotel. Continental style breakfast OK. Good WiFi reception.
Friendly owner
Onsite restaurant was convenient, menu flexible. Breakfast was good too.
Hotel itself has no carpark but easy to find a parking spot nearby.
