This gorgeous country home is easy to find just off the Camino and is the perfect place to stay before a short walk to Santiago de Compostela. I had a lovely room with an enormous jetted tub—perfect after a long day of walking with everything on my back. The grounds are lovely. My dinner was exceptional. My breakfast was quite good, too. The staff was so very accommodating . I only wish I could have stayed longer.

This little hotel has rooms above the cafe/bar. There are about 28 steps to carry your gear up, but not too bad. Checkin is at the bar. The folks who manage and run this place are exceptionally nice and friendly. Meals are ok, not great, not bad. The Camino Frances crosses the highway about a hundred yards from the hotel. There is a bus stop less than 1/4 away where bus ride to either the airport, or into Santiago (the train station) only costs 1 euro. I chose to take a taxi to the airport, and offered a taxi driver five euro. In less than ten minutes he dropped me off. I would stay here again.

If you are looking for comfort, this is your place. The Hotel is brand new, with clean lines, wood and texture. The beds were the most comfortable on the entire Camino. We had both breakfast and dinner which was scrumptious. This is a delightful place.
The airport can be reached on foot or by bus.
Pleasant if the flight leaves very early.
A small bar and restaurant is nearby and also has an evening menu for 16 euros, large salad, fish with potatoes, a drink + a small dessert.
Three of us were on Camino and this hotel is in the distance of 10km to Santiago de Compostela. Perfect for us! The facility is new and clean and close to restaurants. The owner was very kind and caring and gave us good information to register for getting QR code to get credential beforehand, which we didn’t know. The bathroom has towel rack to dry small items. They have small kitchen area and also coin operated washing machine which provide detergent itself. It was helpful since we didn’t carry laundry detergent with us.
For the price, the hotel is exceptional. The rooms are very clean, they clean them every day, change towels, replenish shampoo, and make sure everything is perfect.
- the bus stop is right in front of it. Costs 1 EUR to go to Santiago center, and 1 EUR back. Takes 30 minutes. 6 EUR taxi fare, from the airport to the hotel.
- Goldcar rental office next to the hotel, in case you want to rent.
- beds are comfortable, and the room was big enough.
- The restaurant food is good, and fair priced.
The staff were lovely, however the shutters in the bedroom and bathroom were completely broken. The room looked on to a courtyard and on to other rooms so I had no privacy at all! I paid additionally for wifi but there was free wifi throughout the hotel.
I arrived late on Friday night so appreciated there would not be food served, but there was also not food served the following morning.
The location was perfect for me, it was a shame about the other points, especially the broken shutters.
The location is convenient to the Frances route of the Camino de Santiago. It’s also convenient to the airport and the hotel offers a shuttle service. Although it’s about 15 minutes from the airport, we did not hear planes and rested peacefully on the very comfortable mattress. We had dinner at the restaurant and the seafood paella was delicious! The hotel also offers a breakfast buffet.
On the entrance to Lavacolla, this modern house has great facilities for pilgrims looking for rooms to rest up before the last 10km into Santiago. There is a lovely village just a few hundred meters away and places to eat and drink as well as an interesting Galician village. Our room was new and had great bathroom facilities. Large kitchen area with free tea and coffee.
This was an unexpected pleasure. The hotel has rooms that are like little suites around a courtyard. The main building has a restaurant for lunch and another, much fancier, restaurant for dinner. Very good food -- quite a bit higher level than most of the restaurants we encountered on the Camino. But also more expensive.
Our last overnight in A Concha, Lavacolla, before Santiago was very comfortable. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant that evening served by an equally friendly and good humuored staff member.
Good buzz in the place, full of locals.
The room was clean, reception was straightforward, the beds were adequately comfortable, and most importantly, this hotel had space for me near Santiago where finding bed space was becoming increasingly competitive. The ambient room music switch was not very useful but was odd and delightful.
4 min by bus and 25 min walk from the airport. It’s extremely important for solo travelers who’s arriving at night. Contactless check-in/out. In the front of hotel you can find cafe for breakfast and small church. Recommend for short stay.
Beautiful heritage property in a very quiet location , lovely garden , spacious room , very nice and helpful owner , good breakfast.Very close to Camino de Santiago , about 12 min walk from the village of Lavacolla.
Stunning hotel with super friendly staff. They couldn’t do enough for us and our toddler.
We would also recommend the Tarta De Santiago for breakfast, it was the best one we’ve ever had!
The staff were fantastic and the hotel was lovely and clean. Great location for the airport. They were very accommodating for times with the shuttle bus which was very helpful.
