The property is inviting. There is a large, center grass courtyard with a small table and chairs outside every room. Our room, which felt like a small apartment, had a kitchenette which was a plus for us since we tend to want to eat dinner earlier than what is typical in Spain. Shortly after we had checked into our room, a rather loud family checked into the room next to us. Since we were walking the Camino de Santiago, and really needed to get a good night's sleep, the hosts were kind enough to move us to another room. We were very appreciative of that gesture.

The location breaks up the Camino walk from Siguiero to Santiago - good for folks walking shorter distances. Was given a quiet room on the backside of the hotel so slept well. Lots of hot water. Staff extremely attentive.

Very small town but great for the night before arriving to Santiago de Compostela (if you are doing Saint James Way pilgrimage. It is also very close to the airport so you can use it as your base to visit Santiago as well as to go to the airport.

A small bar and restaurant is nearby and also has an evening menu for 16 euros, large salad, fish with potatoes, a drink + a small dessert.
Lavacolla, one of the last stops on the camino and a traditional place for Pilgrims to wash up so that they can head in clean and refreshed to the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela. This place was beautiful. It is new or newly renovated. The bathrooms were great and we also did our laundry! We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly enjoyed the final 8-10km into Santiago to finish our journey.
Our last overnight in A Concha, Lavacolla, before Santiago was very comfortable. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant that evening served by an equally friendly and good humuored staff member.

We would also recommend the Tarta De Santiago for breakfast, it was the best one we’ve ever had!
Close to airport, bus stop right outside the hotel , transport to airport by bus is only 5 minutes. You can actually walk to the terminal in around twenty minutes.
The hotel was lovely and clean, modern bathroom and comfortable beds, the attached restaurant was great for a delicious meal after a long day of walking.
