I loved, not liked, sharing great conversation with locals and the owner and learning about the regional wines. Miguel, the owner, is an amazing person. His food was right up my alley, simple and great tasting. I am not difficult so I went with what he gave me but he also said he had some other options for vegetarian people. Miguel is not just the center of the town but he is also guide for people who want to learn about the region.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a good bed and excellent water pressure in the shower. The room was small but had enough space for our bags. There is no A/C, but there was a screen in the window (“mosquito net” in the listing). The host and staff were wonderful, and they all want their guests to be comfortable. It seemed to us that this hotel had the best food in this small town, and we had all of our meals of good, local dishes here. Their breakfast was a good way to start a day of hiking.
