accommodation very clean and tidy. The breakfasts are great, with a large selection of menu that changes slightly every day. Staff very helpful. For hotel guests there is also the possibility to use the terrace with a view on the 6th floor. Parking is in the underground parking lot 80 meters away from hotel for €15 per day. On working days, it is possible to use a discount for hotel guests, and parking then costs only €6 per day. Probably the only drawback is the very small rooms, even if the design ones are nicely furnished.

The Gran Canaria capital, Las Palmas offers everything that the Canaries stand for: year-round sun, fantastic beaches and great nightlife. However, the largest city of this volcanic island group is more than just a beach resort - its mix of traditional and modern makes it stand out from the crowd.
Colourful Colonial façades line Calle Triana, a top shopping street, while the out-of-town Las Arenas shopping complex is much more contemporary in design. The El Muelle shopping centre is near Parque Santa Catalina and the surrounding restaurants, bars and clubs are focal points of Las Palmas nightlife, together with the historic Vegueta district.
Vegueta is also home to Santa Ana cathedral, best viewed from the palm-lined square which houses the Canary Island Museum. Around the corner is the Casa Museo de Colón, where Columbus stayed en route to America. No doubt he sailed from huge Puerto de la Luz whose numerous vessels are guarded by a lighthouse and stone castle.
On the opposite side of the promontory is long Las Canteras beach, lined by a promenade providing great mountain views in both directions. The 5-star hotels by the beach are just some of Booking.com’s Las Palmas accommodation options, alongside cheap guest houses and apartments, all linked by coastal road to Gran Canaria Airport.

Las Palmas is a good place for a relaxing vacation.
Las Palmas is a good place for a relaxing vacation. Relaxing vibes, good weather, nice beaches. Transportation is ample, and it's easy to understand how to get around. That being said, the odd layout of Las Palmas can make deciding on a location a bit confusing, which leads me to my only grip: the old town is dead in the off season. If a quiet getaway is what you're after, by all means stay in the old town, but there seemed to be more excitement around Las Canteras.

The island will definitely appeal to alot of people from all walks - Interestingly the south caters for more touristic attractions and opportunities whilst the centre and north are more historic. The island is accessible via public transport from St. Telmo (bus station) - You'll need to work out the way the busses work (Blue for inter-town, Orange for inside towns) and download the GuaGua app (There's two of them!) - Google Maps helps alot in navigating whilst Apple-Maps is a little sparse on information.
Dont go the route to hire a car - Its not needed and buses are frequent and easily accommodating.
Restaurants are a pick'n'mix re success - Some are great (look for the locals seems a big deal)

Great to walk all over the city.
Great to walk all over the city. The old town and so many beautiful beaches where there are no tourists. They are all on one beach. Positive attitude from everyone I met. Nice to rent a bicycle and travel on excellent bicycle routes throughout the city. Lots of good restaurants. I was there for a month, it felt way too short.

Gem of Las Palmas. Located in the old town area, in a beautiful neighborhood, close to everything, market, museum, downtown, bus station, shopping, beach etc. The cleanest apartament we have ever seen, and also the most equipped one: kitchen, bathroom. We were staying in the smaller apartament, we saw the bigger one too, next time we definately book that one, is more airy/spacy. It was very nice to sit on the cozy balcony after a long day. Tyko, the manager was helpful in every way! We wil be back for sure!
This apartment offers everything you need for a trip to Gran Canaria. Juan is very friendly owner who was always available and flexible according arrival and departure times. The apartment is perfectly located in the middle of the town and thanks to the bikes that are available, we were able to cycle along the water to the old part of town. The apartment is very nicely decorated and has everything you need (well equipped kitchen, beach towels, even an umbrella...). We loved our stay here!
For the price it was a great place to stay, I think the bad comments here are from people who expect 5 star hotel experience for pennies. The place had everything a tired traveller might need and it was reasonably clean, very good location, easy to get to by public transport, lots of shops in the area, and beaches. The room was small, but as I was traveling alone, it didn't bother me, the main thing was that the bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep.
Amazing location, 250 m from Las Canteras beach. There’s lots of restaurants and shops around.
The studio is very comfortable, equipped with everything you may need. It’s clean and well kept. Bed is comfy. Good wifi.
Parking on the streets is very difficult, not easy to find a spot, but there is a 6 floor parking 230 m away (Aparcamientos Luis Morote) one week costs 60 eur.
Good contact with the owner.
I highly recommend the studio and Gran Canaria.
Very comfy beds and clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superb (fresh savoury and sweet dishes) and is served on the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy some morning sunshine and the views to the Old Town, including the Cathedral of Gran Canaria (previously named Santa Ana).
In the night there are restaurants and bars in the area, which is convenient. Will come back!
the property is very clean and very quiet
nice location near the beach, hiperdino and 2 other supermaket
the appartment is equiped with 2 air conditioner
neighborhood very quiet
Special thanks to Victor who made my stay very satisfying, I had to change my booking dates and he accepted it with all kindness.
I use to come to las Palmas and this was my best stay
thanks for everything
The apartment was very spacious, good looking and comfortable. It was possible to reach the beach in one minute. The owner of the apartment was perfect - very helpful, joyful and prepared to give advice in every situation. I would really recommend to choose this apartment for beautiful stay in Gran Canaria! Thank you and good luck! :)
The apartment exceeded our expectations, had everything we needed and was very clean. The common terrace it's very big and you have a beautiful view to the ocean. It is perfectly located. The host was very kindly and offered us all needed information and much more, thank you. If we'll visit again Gran Canaria, sure we'll be back 😀
I really like staying here when visiting Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I've stayed a few times now & there's a reason I keep returning. The location is excellent with so many bars, restaurants, shops, the beach & bus station so close by. It's clean, comfortable & good value for money. The staff are also amazing & super helpful.
We enjoyed staying in Beach home apartment! Everything was as expected. Apartment is clean, very cozy, equipped with everything needed (also staff for kid as crib, table, blankets was in place), the balcony and the view is perfect. Good location.
Thank you, Living Las Canteras team, for great time in Las Palmas.
The owner Marco was very friendly!! We talked a lot and he gave us many good tips on what we should see in Las Palmas and the whole Gran Canaria. He told us about the history of the building, which is simply amazing and has a special spirit. We really enjoyed our stay there, thank you very much!!!
The breakfast was excellent and had a lot of variety. The sea view from the restaurant was phenomenal. The hotel itself is located right on the beach and is close to the area where you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas. There are plenty of really great cafes and restaurants nearby.
We had a very pleasant stay, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very elegant and stylisch, and it was lovely to watch the sunsets from the roof terrace. It was by far the best accommodation of our journey to Gran Canaria.
The location of the property is just excellent. All the facilities that you need al all around you. Restaurants, coffee shops, bus stations, supermarkets. The apartment is such a good base to explore the island of Gran Canaria.
The place was spotless, and it was a quiet location. It was located between the cruise port and downtown Las Palmas. The beds were very comfortable and apparently had memory foam on top of the mattresses. It’s OK.
