We felt so welcome! Monica was lovely and gave us lots of advice on places to see and where to eat. Breakfast was amazing, a 3 course meal with fruit, followed by your choice of eggs and sandwich, followed by lovely homemade sweet cakes. Our dog was truly spoiled as well and given lots of treats (5paws from our dog Sansa). The room was nicely decorated and very clean, we even got lucky and got an upgrade! Close to the beaches and San Vicente, but away from the busy tourist humdrum, a lovely place to stay. I even got to take some of the plants home from the terrace, to try and grow then at home.

We'd had a phone call from our host with instructions for getting in but someone was there to greet us, which was nice.
This is a row of two storey apartments (they reminded me of little cottages) with bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a big main sitting-dining-kitchen area downstairs. It was well equipped, with toaster and coffee machine also! We parked right outside the front door, where also there were two chairs and a table and there was a Taverna 20 yds away. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday when it's closed, but next morning we had white coffee and two mini muffins each for 1 euro 40 - a good deal.
This hotel, beside San Vicente de la Barquera Port, offers stunning views over the Old Town and estuary. There is a terrace bar, and all heated rooms have private bathrooms.

Both of them they had a nice and warm approach.
Great location. It's a pity that the bar and restaurant was close . It is only open in July and August.

Relaxing stop in the countryside place, beautifully decorated, clean. I traveled in mid May, so it was very cosy that the owners turned on the heating in the evening. Pleased with delicious breakfast.

Our aim was to visit and discover the northern part of Spain with its beautiful mountains and beaches. We succeeded it :) The accommodation was suitable to have a good rest and the taverna to eat good food.
