The place was super cozy. It was a perfect place to crash after a long day snowboarding. The bus stop is right in front of the property but unfortunately the bus didn’t run during the two days we were there, otherwise it would have been perfect. Overall it was a nice experience and we would consider renting the same place next year.
The comfortable Solineu apartments in the Catalan Pyrenees are close to the La Molina ski slopes. They offer free Wi-Fi. All of the Solineu apartments have a terrace, fireplace, TV and DVD player.

Climate change is robbing the eastern Pyrenees of their precipitation so snow machines are the order of the day. The demand on water resources for this is unsustainable.
The Catalonians have gone to town with their language so forget your school-learnt Spanish and get deep into Google Translate. It doesn't get a lot of English tourists so not everyone there will be able to speak English. Despite being very close to France they don't speak that language either.

La Molina is good for beginners and better during the week.
La Molina is good for beginners and better during the week. At weekends it can be overcrowded at the bottom with longer queues at the first lift and for material rental and difficult to find parking. Once higher up it's better. Check weather because snow is not always great in La Molina.
Stuff there is very friendly and good restaurantes at the slopes.

La Molina is a perfect destination for good skiing, a relaxed atmosphere and quality service. So not pretentious like many resorts in the Alps, not overpriced and everything you need is in one place. We will certainly return. we were lucky to be there just out of season, which made it a very easy and memorable experience, it helped that the snow was great, the sky was blue and the sun was out each day.

Very small, quiet resort, easy parking everywhere, no queues at the lifts (at least not during the week but we saw the traffic queues coming towards the mountains from Barcelona on Friday evening!). Beautiful empty slopes on top of several mountains with some cafes. Restaurants in La Molina open very late or were closed all the time, so not great for families who want to eat early. Only one small shop. Snow conditions ok because it had snowed a lot 3 weeks earlier, but melting quickly. Very sunny and warm. I think, personally, I would not book to far in advance without knowing if it had snowed.

This is a family friendly medium size resort, with many activities and slopes for kids. Every ski chair is equipped with a protective sit-bar for kids not to slip. The surrounding is nice, reasonable price in the cafes on the slopes.
Not for hard-core skiers :)

Good resort, with plenty of parking and some good Pistes.Good for a day or 2. Its lionked to another resort, which we didn't ski into, but this could clearly extend your stay and choice.
Restaurants in the village were disappointing. Every time we approached one it was just about to close or they wouldn't serve us. Not sure if we had the plague or something.
My recommendation would be to book in advance, get a picnic or eat elsewhere.
we so love the house, esp the kitchen.. its just like home, they have almost everything you need , they even have a tiny herbs garden.. its not luxurious but very good for the price.. and lm used to staying in luxury chalets when skiing at Hokkaido and Swiz…plus my son is a chef and he still likes the kitchen..we were out whole day skiing so we dont mind the small bedrooms....and this is only 3 min drive to the ski resort, grocery et al.. we will be back..its nice and allows pets. we had our dog with us.. and with parking..
Such a cute little log cabin style chalet. If there had been more of us the two apartments would have connected via a central stairwell so it can accommodate both small and large groups. Comfy pullout sofa and plenty of radiators for drying damp ski clothes. Garden was shared with other chalets but huge. Off-street parking in the garden was helpful for loading skis each day. We also really appreciated easy contact with the host to ask a few last questions.
Good heating, nice apartment and convenient location for accessing the ski resort. Our room was a bit noisy because it was close to the main entrance to the apartments building and for some reason that door did not have something to retain it when people closed it. So it kept slamming until early hours. But the apartment was much bigger than what we had really booked and paid for, therefore we did not really complain in this occasion.
There's a lot to like here! The breakfast was excellent, and they are taking Covid very seriously. Great for kids-nice small area with play equipment and an awesome clean pool with a fun waterslide. If you are heading to La Molina Ski area (we took the tram up and hiked around up there during the summer), the location is great. Other guests were super friendly.
The location, the hotel deles Brandon New. the staff was amazing, súper accommodating, warmth and going beyond expectations for us to have a great experience. They offered us to take us to different places, they were super relaxed with our schedule and last minute changes. Extremely human, charismatic and legit. we would definitely come back to Amoretes.
The hotel has an outstanding location next to the slopes and tele-cabin. Staff is very helpful and efficient. Food selection is okay. Would expect more healthier options as well to oily & deep fried dishes. Salad bar is nice. Overall very clean and comfortable place to stay overnight between skiing.
The host was really nice (it is an agency with office in d'Alp). We asked to leave keys somewhere next to apartment so we didn't have to go from La Molina to the office to pick them up. Cozy apartment close to the train station and bus shuttles to the slopes.
Comfortable room and hotel. In a good location, a bit of a walk from the ski lifts, but right in town. Next to a nice restaraunt (El Bodegon). The pizza resturant attached was just okay. Breakfast was nice with lots of lovely pastries.
we were there end of August , very reasonable price for a great room .
very helpful staff. Didn’t realise it was so quiet there in summer, restaurant wasn’t open BUT staff so lovely and told us where to go in La Molina .
Very nice apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Living room with a big window is great. Location is also good, 10-15 mins from ski lifts by foot. Recommended for families as well, I would definitely return.
The apartament was spacious and comfortable. Most of the amenities were available. Supermarket within walking distance and the two ski resorts very close. It also has free parking which is conveniente.
Very clean and cosy apartment, with beautiful views. Dinner was lovely and staff very friendly. Location was superb as it is walking distance from the ski resort.
Perfect for families.
Its a very well located hotel with everything you would expect. Nothing to fancy, nothing is bad either. I go there every year and for our needs is just perfect.
