Great location, near beach, shops ,restaurants. The bungalow was very clean , much bigger than I thought, and has everything you would need while holidaying here. Rosario was an excellent host, such a lovely and attentive person. Thank you, Rosario & family . Highly recommended

We liked proximity to nice sandy beach and restaurants. The apartment was super clean and cosy. Small vases on the shelves in each room created nice atmosphere. Balcony is closed and therefore it is safe for children. The apartment had snacks in the fridge, juice, water and some other food for the first day, coffee and cacao cups. It included also sunsprays, shampoos and so on.
Appartment has 1 double bed and 1 small bed on the balcony with the sea view and coach for 2 people. The apartment has air conditioner.
House where apartment is located has lift. We parked behind the gates next to the house.

The location was excellent:- right on the beach, with shops and restaurants under the apartment. Really lovely views from the large balcony. The apartment was very roomy and contained everything needed for self-catering. The furniture and bedding were quite new and there was plenty of cupboard space. The location was excellent even though it was on the main square with lots of restaurants and a children's fairground every evening, but as the apartment was so well soundproofed it caused no problem.

La Mata is a nice small place with everything you need as a tourist: the banks, post office, bakeries, supermarket, pharmacy, little shops and lots and lots of restaurants; there is not much regional entertainment/ artistic shows, dances etc but perhaps I am not well informed; perhaps I would know more if I had stayed a bit longer or if I had stayed in the season.
There are lots of interesting places around La Mata eg. the monastery in La Nevalda, the city of La Leche, a boat trip to las Tabarcas, the city of Guardamar, the city of Orihuela, Alicante I Torrevieja.

La Mata to us was just perfect. Our stay was very enjoyable.
La Mata to us was just perfect. Our stay was very enjoyable. The location in where we stayed was close to the supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, restaurants and of course the beach. The bus stop was just around the corner which made it easy for our trips to Torrevieja. I would highly recommend La Mata.

la mata was great,a bit windy on the beach, but it was March, still plenty of bars and restaurants open,very nice polite people,had a lovely time.
if your looking for a more Spanish feel and tradition La Mata will do for you.

The patio door exploded during a storm while I was closing...
The patio door exploded during a storm while I was closing the door. Glass went everywhere. Could have caused a fatal accident. Glazer had to be brought in to replace glass.
Bathroom washbasin and bath leaked water onto bathroom floor. Plumber had to be brought in to repair it.
This apartment is a dump, never upgraded and unfit for habitation. Also has a bad smell.
I left a week early as I couldn't stay in such conditions.

Lovely town I've been coming here for 30 years. Very Spanish, I've met some lovely Spanish people who over years have become my friends. If you want a quiet family location La Mata is the place to go.

La Mata is pretty nice but mostly seniors and families with babies. Not the best location if you want to party since everything closes at around 00.00 o'clock. Pretty good restaurants, ok supermarket and bus stops to take you to Torrevieja or Alicante. Most restaurant and hotel staff don't speak english.
Great location - only a 3 min walk down to the main square and beach - all restaurants and bars and supermarket here too. great Aircon in apartment. Spotlessly clean. Only newly renovated - everything brand new. Up on the 4th floor however the lift is there to get u up and down, easy peasy - no balcony, however 10 seconds down the hall is the roof terrace with top views. Kateryna is very easy to deal with - lots of communication via what's app for handiness. 10 out of 10
It's very nice place. Underground parking is available and free of charge. Apartment is super! Well equipped kitchen and rooms. Safe place. Surprise: In the fridge you will even find a bottle of wine that I have not get in France never. Sea view. A lot of cafes and restaurants are nearby. The plates are big there, so be careful-))
Highly recommended for family staying.
If you don't like the sea you can use a pool.

The apartment was excellent. Brilliant location with fabulous views of the beach and the Salt lakes, the sunsets were beautiful. It's near to some great restaurants and bars, and only a quick bus ride away from Torrevieja. The apartment is modern, spotless and very well equipped, everything you could ask for was there. The pool was also great, clean and professional lifeguards on duty. I would definitely book again.
The best location- next to beautiful, kilometers long beach and La Mata village with shops, restaurants, bars etc. Apartment has literally everything you might want for even couple of weeks stay. Amazing view on the dunes and sea.- loved to enjoy sunrise with a cup of tea. Special thanks to David who made our check in/check-out and our stay in general comfortable. He was very responsive and accommodating- thank you!
The property was nice but outside was a building site . The picture you have of the balcony should show lots of jCB diggers . The complete sea front has been dug up with most of the restaurants closed and no access to the beach from the apartment.
