Campsite is overall very nice but it was a bit too quiet and nothing to do for us outside and from walking distance from the campsite.

The apartment was spacious, very clean, and updated. We were welcomed and invited to see the property upon arrival. We were very comfortable and felt quite spoilt as the owner even gave us a gift. Everything is pretty much walking distance and has lovely beach areas. Overall, we loved our stay.

The situation and views are very good. The restaurant is good and again has great views. Everything is clean and calm. Breakfast is typical Spanish fare with plenty of choice. Pastries are not as good as French and cooked breakfast not up to full English standards but nevertheless reflecting the price. We use this hotel to break an 11 hour journey from France to The Costa Calida and for that it is perfect.

Lovely little town on the edge of the Delta Ebre - Very friendly people, good restaurants and cafes; all set in a beautiful location. The terrain is quite flat so very good for walking/cycling. The sea was very calm when we were there and appeared very safe for swimming. There is also a train station located very close to the front, so its an excellent place to get to other locations from

I do not recommend to swim in the town, the water didn't look clean, it's better to go a bit outside of the town the opposite direction from the delta del Ebro, there you can find some nice beaches. Also, I'd say it's a bit ugly, there is nothing spectacular about this place, there is nothing to do really in the town. However, you can go outside of it to see Tortosa, delta del Ebro or hike cami Ronda. Another thing that I didn't like is the luck of good supermarkets and greengroceries, it's a bit of a food desert there.

If you like the idea of staying in comfort in a castle with foundations going back to the Romano/Greco age, then this one is for you.
Marvellous hosts and the garden and pool looked fab.
Sadly the weather interfered with my plans to use both!

L'Ampolla is a beautiful place, everywhere you go, you can walk.
The restaurants are nice. It is not a touristic place, so not that many English speakers, but If you want you can learn basic stuff and communicate with the locals, they are all friendly.
The water is beautifully clean and warm, and the beaches are clean. It's a small cute place to visit. :)

We love this hotel. It's clean and there are never any nasty surprises! Breakfast is copious, the buffet is varied, bright and fresh. The hotel's proximity to the port with its restaurants is an added bonus.
Very nice hotel with fabulous view on the sea from the cap.
A very beach is about 5 minutes by foot away.
For us the price value ratio was very good, but we had a cheap deal at the end of the season.
