We were charged 25 euro for parking which is ridiculous for the price of the room. That is why I will never return. I can go to a different resort that will charge a fair price for parking. I don't mind paying for quality but I never enjoy being taken advantage of.

Breakfast was very good, dinner was more based on quantity than quality!

From start to finish the staff made us so welcome.
From start to finish the staff made us so welcome. The hotel experience was amazing with so many facilities and things to do. The rooms were beautifully decorated. The reception was amazing and smelt devine!
The entertainment team were brilliant. The shows were so good and they always took an interest in making everyone feel part of the group if they wanted.
I can’t wait to return next year!

Isla Canela was lovely and quiet, beautiful beach, easy to get around with a car but other options available and everywhere was within walking distance as very flat. Punta de Moral had a lovely marina with boat trips. Lots of golf courses in the area and reasonably priced.

Isla canela is great, the Barcelo not so great.
Isla canela is great, the Barcelo not so great. If you get a bargain price then go for it but accept the room for what it is, small and not premium. Some great local restaurants and an amazing beach made the break fun.

A brilliant resort for child-safe sandy beaches.
A brilliant resort for child-safe sandy beaches. The beach is very long, wide and sandy. The sea is really shallow and leaves lovely paddling pool-type lagoons as it goes out. Great at both high and low tide. There are lifeguards on the beach and water sports areas.
Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby for food and drinks.

Isla Canela has the most beautiful stretch of beach to walk along and eat a fish lunch or relax with a drink and watch the kite surfers before sunset.
Ayamonte is a nice Spanish town and you can get the ferry over to Villa Real St Antonio in Portugal which is a wonderful little town with lots of al fresco fish resturants.
Very pleasant hotel with a lovely traditional Spanish feel. Excellent for golf lovers, but also just a 5 minutes drive to the beautiful beaches or to Ayamonte.
The beds were very comfortable, and the room was reasonably large with a nice balcony overlooking the golf course.
Lovely Ritual bathroom products provided.
Nice pool area with towels provided.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
