It was amazing staying at Ca les Barberes! The hosts are extremely nice and very welcoming. The surroundings are breathtaking. We had breakfast every morning and it was so tasty, so much to choose from and fresh. Every day we would drive to different beaches and locations to see. We would love to come back again and go hiking in the mountains.

This is a beautiful very peaceful and quiet small town with very few of any overnight tourists. The views of the valley and surrounding mountains are spectacular and magical. There is wonderful biking and hiking in the area.

There're 4 bars in the main square, all offering tapas, salads sandwiches...the old town is lovely, and there are lots of interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Outisde town there are some interesting nature trails/excursions; you can get organized activities from the three bicycle companies in town (also kayaking, canyoning...). It's also a good starting point for the GreenWay bicycle route to Tortosa.

The heating system of this homestay is to be improved to a more efficient central radiator system to elevate the comfort of the stay for the guests during the winter months. Otherwise a winter stay at this accommodation is a total washout especially travelling and holidaying with children !!
