Great hotel- location good, staff welcoming, comfortable room. Although I did not use, there was a lounge area on first floor with microwave for general use. Received a welcoming red rose as I was there for St Georges festival which made me feel part of the celebration! Just lively.

A splash of colour and history in the heart of Catalonia
The colourful and charming gem that is Girona is set on the banks of where the rivers Ter, Onyar, Galligants and Güell meet. Girona is protected by fortifications and features a remarkable medieval centre along with several fine Romanesque and Gothic buildings.
The province houses the ancient Arab Baths, the Girona Cathedral, and the lovely Girona Art Museum. Due its mountainous terrain Girona is also a popular destination for cycling enthusiasts, whilst theatre lovers can enjoy a performance at the Auditorium Jardins del Castell.
Girona has a lively nightlife and offers a wide variety of bars, restaurants and cafés serving anything from local Basque and Catalan delicacies to traditional tapas and an array of international cuisines.
Other popular landmarks to see are the 14th-century Sant Feliu, the historical fortifications, the 11th-century Monastery of San Daniel, and the characteristic Girona Bridge.
Girona Train station offers direct links to bustling Barcelona and the picturesque province of Portbou. Booking.com offers a wide range of accommodation options and deals in Girona and around Catalonia.
Beautiful city full of life and amazing food! We loved strolling the streets finding new corners and hidden places. If you come here, go to Xibarri. They have the best burgers and desserts! It is not a typical tourist city. That is what we love about it the most.

Loved it all.
Loved it all. Food and drink by the river, walking on the walls, the Jewish quarter, its manageable size. Hotel in exactly the easiest position near the town centre and the station and bus station. We used both.

Fantastic place for a cycling holiday.
Fantastic place for a cycling holiday. So many other cyclists, cafes and bike shops make it feel like it was made for cyclists. Roads are buttery smooth and once you get out of town there is very little traffic. So many different scenic routes to choose from.

Second time staying here.
Second time staying here. The apartment had everything I needed (except bluetooth sound on tv)) and arrival / departure was hassle free. The arrival pack of the cleaning essentials is great for flyers and the street balcony was lovely to air the place (and dry cycking gear) and also watch old town activity. Will be back.

Getting around the Jewish quarter was easy to navigate using the river as guide . So many little alley ways all end up along the river and you see so many old historic buildings. Very quaint and peaceful, always felt safe.
The Jewish museum is a must do if you want to learn about the history of Girona. WILL COME BACK AGAIN.

Such an incredible and interesting city.
Such an incredible and interesting city. Easy to walk around, very friendly locals and such beautiful boutiques, cafes and restaurants everywhere. My favourite restaurant was Vert in the old town and La Fabric was also beautiful 😊
Beautiful oasis of calm in the center of Girona, walking distance from the historic center. The hotel is immaculately clean, all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are great - very comfy bed, towels (bathroom and pool) and bathrobes provided. We travelled by car and there wasn't onsite parking but a garage very close which wasn't expensive at all.
Would absolutely recommend Hotel Nord for anyone travelling to Girona, this was our second stay and we would book again without hesitation for our next trip to Spain.
Hotel Europe exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very central, a 5 minutes walk from the old town, very close to bakeries, restaurants, shops and the train station. The staff was very friendly and quick in responding to my questions before arrival. The Wi-Fi worked very well.
Stylish boutique hotel in a great location in the old town of Girona with plentiful restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel feels intimate and the decor is original. Staff were keen to make the stay perfect and the option to reserve the basement spa area is a nice touch. Nor are you charged for everything little thing.
We loved the roof terrace & the staff there & throughout the hotel were lovely. We had a huge room & bathroom & the hotel was in a prime position next to the old town. Toiletries were wonderful (body lotion on tap) & when we requested a kettle it was in our room immediately! Breakfast was great with lots of variety!
Ideal location: close to the train station and close to the old town/city center. Very quiet rooms.Very clean.
Overnight parking in a parking garage for €10 per night (at 5 min walking distance from hotel). Very nice and helpful people at the reception desk.
Excellent location, easy to find close to the Cathedral in the heart of the old town. Hotel has a roof terrace for evening drinks but sadly no bar.
Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom & good breakfast with lots of options.
amazing location and friendly staff. Hotel facilities were wonderful especially considering I’m a cyclist and the hotel has many amenities catered towards cycling. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be returning again.
Very close to the city, about 5-7 minutes drive - best choice if you travel with a car. The parking is absolutely free and big enough. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is nice, clean and quiet.
It was clean, modern and a great location about a 10 minute walk to the old town at steady pace. The hotel staff upgraded our room as courtesy. Which was very much appreciated.
High quality, well located hotel. Railway and bus station nearby, a short stroll to the old town. Bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Good breakfasts. Comfortable beds.
the pool and terrace area was lovely and chilled. the room was spacious and comfortable. it was great value compared to other hotels on our trip around Spain and France.
For my first trip to Spain, this was the best accommodation over my 10 day trip! Incredible feeling in this ancient stone perfectly appointed room in a perfect location!
