A bit tricky to get keys, could not find the place to pick them up then had to call a number on the door and wait ten minutes before a lady arrived. She spoke slowly in Spanish but it was still tricky following her instructions

Stunning location - so peaceful and very easy to find. Back terrace area was ideal to do a little stargazing at night. Very clean and well equipped, and the hosts were lovely.

We were on a hiking tour, and we didn't expect such a surprise that after the whole day's tour, we could refresh ourselves in a small pool with a beautiful view. I also really liked the fact that the hotel was authentically furnished in a former oil press factory. The breakfast was also very delicious and plentiful.

the location was perfect and the views from both terraces were amazing. we travelled with our baby daughter and my husband’s parents. the two bedrooms downstairs with the bathroom were perfect for us and my husband’s parents were very comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. cot and high chair were provided. house and facilities very clean. there was a play park 3 mins walk from the villa.

Genalguacil is renowned as an open-air art gallery, with sculptures, statues, mosaics and paintings on every corner and in every square. It is also a very pretty place, with the streets full of flowers, and fantastic views. It is well worth a visit. And the drive up from Estepona offers some spectacular views of the coast.

This is a fantastic place to get away from it all. A quaint village that boasts to be one of the most beautiful in Andalucia. 2 Superb hill side restaurants with lovely outdoor terraces. You park in the main car park and walk into the village which is small so not far to go with luggage. Everything really quaint with artistic sculptures and statues everywhere. This is a big centre of art and culture so very popular with tourists. Large art museum there. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely quiet little village, not far from Ronda and Estepona. Lots of artwork, sculptures, incredible creations. Surrounded by chestnuts and oaks with great hiking opportunities. We walked to Jubrique and back through the woodlands. A great place to stay for a couple of nights away from it all.

Genalguacil is a lovely town full of art.
Genalguacil is a lovely town full of art. My young daughter and I had loads of fun hunting down the hidden artwork. It also has a range of hikes that are circular and spectacular, my daughter was able to complete these hikes (she is 9).
The Refugio was amazing! Lovely steaks and salads as well as good quality wine for 6 euros a bottle!
If you like good food, spectacular mountain views and art then you have to stop here.
The apartment was amazing. Very clean, well-designed with stunning view, surrounded by mountains. A very nice host with a funny dog 😃 Elena was always ready to help in case of any questions! I recommend this place if you search for unforgettable experience

We wanted to stay overnight as Genalguacil is over two hours from where we were staying and we wanted plenty of time to explore and see all the art on display around the place. So finding this little hotel right in the middle of the pueblo was perfect. The room and bathroom were well equipped, the bed very comfortable, dinner and breakfast tasty. And Veroníca was an excellent host - friendly and full of advice.
Breakfast was simple but excellent. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Good shower. Lovely village with nice surroundings, lots of walks and very friendly people. Hotel staff really helpful and happy. Local restaurant excellent value for money with fantastic panoramic views.
Location was great, parking a couple of walking minutes away. Public parking, safe spot.
Breakfast and dinner at hotel, limited choices in town. Reasonable and good.
