Very clean and bright. The receptionist was also very bright and bubbly - explained the places to see in the town, where to go to get (opening times -essential!) and also informed of cafes were we could discounts if showed where we were staying. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Room overlooked very small courtyard plaza and while I could hear patrons at the cafe until late, it’s all part of the experience of staying in place overlooking a cafe courtyard. You also get bells peeling at Iglesias Santa Maria which is right in front of you. We arrived in the morning and room wasn’t ready. When we came back after lunch, our packs were in our room - nice touch. Wait until you have a shower 😉

This monastery is simply splendid; what a beautiful location. It creates a world of its own of rest and peace. We felt honored to stay there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner were very good. There's even a large swimming pool. The rooms are large for a cloister, nice bathroom. The staff were all friendly and very welcoming. We are on a cycle touring trip and we even had our bikes taken into the hotel for us. As we were obviously from overseas we were given samples of local produce to try with our meal as the waitress wanted us to try them. The stay was an alround great experience.
