We loved the area, the Cortijo, the peacefulness and Paco the owner. We couldn't believe our luck finding this place. We Stopoed for one night on our Gijon to Cadiz cycle and ended up staying for 3. Absolutely amazing place with truly genuine hospitality. We could have stayed much longer and we really hope to return and enjoy more of Extremadura , our favouritere region on our cycle tour.The cycling around here is fantastic .. The horse and cart ride was so much fun and the walks beside the pistachio trees is beautiful.You can also walk to Llerena in under one hour.. We really enjoyed being around the pool and relaxing in wonderful surroundings.. We also loved Paco's passion for his Pistachio crops..

He has done the most amazing job of blending the old and stately with new, comfortable facilities that enhance the stateliness of this lovely house. Julio has thought of everything. Calm, fine decoration; excellent bathrooms with superb shower pressure; good quality beds and bedding; enough hangars(a rare find!); well laid out and spacious rooms and a gorgeous patio, dining and seating areas. The pool and secure private parking are the icing on the cake. Very well done Julio!

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The grounds and flowers are lovely. There are many tranquil spots to sit and admire the views, enjoy a drink and chill. There is an especially enjoyable panorama from the infinity pool.
