The owner was very welcoming. We were allowed to take our road bicycles to our room. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the heating was already turned on for us. We were starving after a day on the bike, and he offered to bring us a dinner including vegetables, bread, meat and fruits! It was excellent.

The bodega is a beautifully restored 2 story house with comfortable rooms and great outdoor seating areas! Nestor tested us like family and we felt right at home. We will definitely stay again!

Friendliness of Isabel the owner, but her husband was not so friendly. They did make us a snack when we arrived late but charged us 42€ which included a bottle of wine. It was a very quiet location which we liked. Breakfast was very poor and the coffee rank. We will be sending in an official complaint once we have all the photos. Time switches and I bumped my head when the time switch did not give us enough time to get into the room. We must have had the worst room in the hotel. The bathroom was disgusting and the headboard was a piece of natural on the wall behind the bed. For £97 a night I expected much more than this. Photos to follow.

The star of the show is unquestionably the Restaurant Melange. Dinner comprised thoughtful, creative, regional cuisine that excelled on every level. An excellent and varied winelist and knowlegable sommelier and an introduction to the tasting courses by the Chef completed a very enjoyable dining experience. Definately recommended. The accomodation too is delightful with the finca having undergone a complete resotration, thus everything works and is in great condition.

The hotel is beautiful, built in an Arab architectural style. The staff are very helpful and efficient. The evening meal we had at the hotel from the Al La Carte menu was excellent and along with the wine was very reasonably priced. Good secure parking on site.
More could be made of the history of the hotel - originally a home, why was it built in that style should be explained and the fact that King Carlos and Queen Sophia stayed there.(there's a plaque commemorating the stay on the front door pillar)
I recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest you stay for dinner.
