Located in the heart of the Asturias and bathed by the river Caudal, Hotel Mieres del Camino is close to Oviedo and Gijón and an excellent base for exploring the region.

The welcome was very friendly and we really liked our room with very comfortable beds and a view of the hills. The bicycle garage in the basement is excellent; clean, spacious and with a set of tools/track pump for a quick tune up. An excellent hotel for cyclists. Just round the corner is the town's main square with a good selection of cafes and restaurants.
Featuring views of the city and free WiFi, Apartamentos El Aramo Asturias is located in Pola de Lena. It offers stylish, air-conditioned apartments 250 metres from Pola de Lena Train Station.

This is a good option if you are travelling on a budget. Whilst the fabric of the hotel was a little "tired", it was neat and clean and the owners could not have been nicer or more welcoming. Despite language limitations we were given directions to local restaurants for dinner (alas a good walk away), and a simple breakfast was prepared for us close to the table next morning. The rooms were small but comfortable enough.
