We have been here many times and enjoy the size and the people of Estella. There are many small restaurants and places to eat. The town is walkable and the Plazas always seem to have lots of activity. The people are very nice. Spanish also Basque are the primary languages. Not everyone speaks English so brush up your skills and pull out Google translate if you need to. From about March through October/November you will find many pilgrims walking the Camino Francés with backpacks. This is a very old town with many beautiful churches and a beautiful park along the river. Bus service to Pamplona and Logroño are easy to access. Taxis are also available

Estella has a beautiful old town.
Estella has a beautiful old town. The industrial entry to the town seemed to lack promise, but once in the old town, it was wonderful. The Roman bridge was great and we had a delicious menu del dia at the Bar Alday.

Estrella is worth exploring.
Estrella is worth exploring. Lots of little shops and restaurants. A beautiful city. There is a beautiful park close to the bus station and right around the corner to the right ID the bus station is a wonderful little cafe/bar with a clean bathroom.

Estella is great for wandering around with interesting narrow streets, mediaeval architecture and lovely old churches. There is also a park, a good art gallery and a cultural centre. The lady in the tourist office speaks excellent English and takes time to explain the places of interest. Estella is also on the pilgrim route to Santiago di Compostela.

Estella is a beautiful town, rich in history and with welcoming people. The landmarks and churches are amazing. Cafe Mundo on San Nicholas has a wide gluten free selection on their menu and is excellent taste and value. Be sure to try their Sangria and gluten free cheesecake!
The hostel was quiet and we got a good night's kip. The air-con is there, but it is good to know that this hostel cares for the environment as we were advised against using it, for environmental reasons Apparently, air-con is very bad for the planet and shouldn't be used. So we didn't use it and instead took 5 showers to keep cool. Water is plentiful in Estella, so this is fine. There is a big river full of water.
Excellent location and good value, excellent breakfast. The place was full of locals eating when we arrived on our motorbikes - which is a good sign. Our twin room had three beds and a good air conditioner. Lovely outside area to eat/drink. Parking is opposite the hotel with spaces for motorcycles. It’s a 30 minute walk into town along the Camino de Santiago with plenty of other things to do if you need it.
This is a really nice place on the Camino right at the entrance to the town of Estella. It is nicely renovated so one can see the historical tannery it was and yet it is modern and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. All the amenities one needs on the Camino were there. Great place! I definitely recommend!
Fantastic place to stay on the Camino. Asun was lovely and welcoming telling us all about the Youth Festival that was taking place in the evening. Lovely room, bed super comfortable and power shower fab. Little bar area overlooking the river was lovely.
Hotel situated close to a good restaurant and fab wine bar.
Location was great - just a block from the Camino de Santiago. Decathlon sporting goods store and two grocery stores are nearby, about a 10 minute walk to restaurants (shout out to Bar Mundo!). Hotel was decent - not fancy, but clean and comfortable room, fan…good for a one night stay.
Could not recommend this place more! It is so nice! The rooms and bunks are great! It is super clean and modern. Puy was amazing and remembered everyone’s names the whole time! I would absolutely recommend to stay here if you are walking the camino and staying in Estella!
Lovely hotel, very clean with great facilities. This is our second stay and will most definitely return again in the future!
The customer service is also exceptional; friendly, very helpful and very responsive!
it’s wonderful to have this nice apartment on the Camino . it was my 2nd stay here and just clean , roomy and complete with washer/dryer . will be back again when I visit Estella . great communication with staff .
The location is great and close to the old city, just over the bridge a 5 min walk. The hotel is modern and overlooks a little square from our balcony. We were lucky to see a outdoor concert from our balcony.
I loved this place. It's right off El Camino and the staff was very friendly upon check in. The food was good, and the room was quite large with a very nice bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel.
I was lost in Estella and sat on a bench in the square and a wonderful lady from the property found me quickly and took me to my room. She was an angel after walking the Camino all day!
More like a nice hotel than a hostel. Very clean, spacious, and new. Has tons of cookware and plates. Has an elevator. The shower and bathroom was very clean. Very nice receptionist.
Fantastic hotel in the centre of Estella looking over the river. Beautifully designed and lovely clean rooms. Asun was the perfect host and made us very welcome. Highly recommended.
