The staff here are really helpful and friendly. I used this place as a base before doing the Carros de Foc hike. I was able to leave a bag with them until I returned, and the parking outside the hotel was really handy. The breakfast is really good too! Would return. :)

High up in the mountains we decided to book bed, breakfast and evening meal. We were out of season for skiing so there weren't many other guests. Nevertheless, the food was excellent with plenty of choices offered. We had a little trouble with the language at first but a young lady arrived who spoke good English and she remained available throughout our stay. We were evening offered use of a garage for our motorbikes.
A small and quiet town, with an amazing view. The residents and workers are all very kind and eager to help. The town has an information center with charming, English-speaking employees who help you plan your trips from the town.

Small mountain village that works as a great base to visit...
Small mountain village that works as a great base to visit the Natural Park. Plenty of information about hiking routes to do there in the tourist information office. Good services in the village: small supermarket with all the basic goods you might need. Some good restaurants from a burger place, a pizza place and others... Taxi services to go up the park from the centre of the village. There is also a good bakery and a farmacy across the street from it. Basically, Espot covers all your basics.

We used Espot as a base to snowshoe in the adjacent National Park. This is a small, high-mountain village, which is very busy in the summer months, and in the ski-season, but can be very quiet at other times. There are a sizeable number of self -catering apartments and about four mid-size hotels in the village, as well as a pharmacy, outdoor shop and small bakery. There are two small grocery shops, and several small restaurants. It is along drive to the village from other parts of Spain, or over the pass from Vielha, but the scenery is stunning. It is an outdoorsy-place, so there's not much to do if you don't walk or ski!

Great place to stay if you are planning hiking in the national park around. We also did some rafting which was amazing.
There are some nice resturants there. Look for Al Dente - the place offers great pizzas, and self made pasta filled with all kinds things.
If you are planning for a long stay - better find a large supermarket on your way. The one in Espot is pretty small.

What an absolutely beautiful place.
What an absolutely beautiful place. Worth the long, winding drive. Restaurants are cheap and delicious. The park is a 10-minute drive away and worth every second you can be there. I would've liked to stay longer and do more of the hikes! It was pretty warm during our stay but I hear that's a bit unusual. I would love to go back!
Everything was perfect. The apartment was very spacious, nice, and cosy, well heated, kitchen was well furnished, great views of the town and the mountains. We were here before the peak season and not much was open, Jordi was really helpful with recommendations and information! Would definitely be back if I am ever back in Espot. Apartment was located conveniently near the Park information center and the town center. Everything is just within 5mins walk away.
The breakfast was amazing! They offered local meats, local cheeses, amazing croissants, and local fritattas.
The owner and his son, Mark, were amazing. They were very welcoming and went above and beyond for us. This is what made it the best hotel I have ever stayed at.
It was very clean and centrally located. They stored our baggage for us while we went trekking.
Espot is located in a valley, so the scenery is beautiful. The Hotel is cozy and the staff is very friendly. By car you can reach a lot of nice villages and towns. Not to mention the National Park, that is why we spent a few days in Espot in the first place. The bonus for us that Hotel Saurat is dog friendly, and our dogs were very welcome.
staff were really nice and helpful! very comfortable rooms with great small balconies. the view is amazing, the sound of water from the nearby stream is wonderful. located right in the center of Espot, near some restaurants, a minimarket and the national park visitor center. had a nice breakfast at the wonderful garden.
This is the second time we visited. The hotel is in a great location, with spacious and well equipped rooms in good condition. T
he best thing though is the hospitality. We felt really welcome here and for sure we will return.

This apartment in Espot is in a perfect location for exploring the nearby National Park. You can easily walk to the park headquarters and the place where the taxis leave to go up to the park. The apartment was very comfortable and although, small provided everything you need.
Super friendly staff and great location. We were in Espot for a night only during a business trip and were welcomed well with attentive service and staff. It was a short ride from there until the parking to enter the national park / Estany de Sant Maurici area, reccommended!

The staff is so nice and helpful. The whole hotel is renovated, the rooms are big and clean with good bed, pleasent heating and very nice shower and toilet. Location is perfect for going into Aiguestortes park, the park taxi are 1min from the hotel.
Lovely family hotel . My room was spacious , clean and comfortable. The owner was rightly proud of the local items that they sourced for breakfast. Very central and easy to walk to restaurants etc , yet it was very quiet.
