Great location, facilities and host. We had a slight issue which was swiftly resolved once we let the host know. The area around is wonderful with lots of wildlife, walks, bars/restaurants and activities. Cantabria is a wonderful relaxed place to explore.

Set in Espinilla, OTERO DE CAMPOO features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

The location is great, landscape wise, the surroundings all perfect. The apartment I got, was on the second floor,a one bedroom apt. it had a cool little window with views to mountain and fields. it looked smaller than in the photos though. The kitchenette had the appliances, microwave and vitro ceramic plaque, dishes and all that. it had the sofa bed and one double bed as mentioned. but the apartment can be a little dark. I would say is ok for short stay, no more than one or two nights. unless if your travelling solo. with kid can be a little small. they accept pets which for me was important. It does look renovated and with new appliances.

This beautiful hotel has been in the same family for hundreds of years, and the building itself goes back to around 976. It is the oldest house in the village and is full of charm and history, as well as being spacious and comfortable. The owner was very interesting and helpful.

The manager/proprietor was exceptionally friendly but professional. The room was actually a suite with sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Our breakfast was included in the price. We decided to have an evening meal in the hotel dining room, which was well cooked and presented.

This is a no nonsense functional hotel, aimed mainly at visitors to the nearby industrial units. It is very well supported by the local people for the really good food on offer! It is a great stop off on the way to the ferry at Santander. We were made really welcome! They even provided a free self serve breakfast, even though the cafe was closed on that Sunday. The room was OK, no frills but tremendous value.
