Very peaceful and nicely located place. Alfredo was very attentive and helpful with any questions we had. All kitchen equipment was included (no kettle, but we always carry our own so that was not a problem), balcony with beautiful views. Family and pet friendly place.

Big room, full of character with original stone walls and balcony overlooking the town square. Breakfast was great value as were drinks in the evening.

We loved being in the centre of this picturesque stone village and our stay was very comfortable, close to restaurants and very good value for money.. Parking was easy and reasonable.

Escalona is not a typical village, but a small place in the middle of a busy road with only two restaurants and nothing else to offer. It is a good place to reach Pineta or Escuaín, but a bit disappointing if you're looking for a typical Pyrenees village.

Escalona is nog bigger than a handkerchief but positioned central between Pyrenees and Somontana. That was why we chose to stay here, although the good comments on the restaurant helped. .. We weren't disappointed as the Sunday menu was great.

Place didnt do it for me despite fresh air and amazing views. People in tourist office were a bit frosty. I said I wanted to go for a walk to stretch my legs and they just said "where do you want to go"? As if I already knew the place!
A better question might be do you want a flat walk? By the river? See a village?
I don't know, may have just been me having an off day or being disappointed with my accommodation there too...
It was very, very clean. I liked that the flooring was not carpeted. It was in a nice, peaceful spot just outside of Escalona. The owners are a family and you can tell they work hard to give you the best experience. Everyone was professional and also went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay even though we unfortunately do not speak Spanish.
This hotel appears to be a family run business. It was very clean and in a good location nestled in the mountains, Fantastic views! The continental breakfast, which was included, was lovely with great coffee! They also had a large patio to sit and enjoy cold beverages and food for lunch and dinner. I would rate the food as ok.
Staff was exceptionally welcoming and kind. The hotel is run by a family and it really feels that way, warm, easy-going. Location is also fantastic. Right next to the park information office, 10 minutes from Ainsa and easy driving to a lot of hiking.
Relatively small hotel, the young lady at the reception was very welcoming and accommodated our requests. Breakfast was quite nice too. The parking garage had available spaces, which was nice. Overall, a nice place.
Always a good value for money place to stay. Perfectly located for mountain walks and hiking. Rooms are comfy and clean. I often stay in this hotel and have done so over 25 years.
The family who own and run the hotel are wonderful hosts. They respond immediately to any request. Even though it was the low season, all of their facilities were available.
Very nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for hiking or birdwatching (which we did). Located in a peaceful small village. Basic but excellent food.
Lovely hotel with very comfy rooms just outside Ainsa. Really good breakfast and a lovely dinnner plus underground secure parking for the Motos. Ideal stop
