Perfect stay, spacious bedroom and bathroom.
Great Location in a typical quarter nearby a very nice harbour. Restaurants, supermarket and bakery all around the corner.
We loved it. Highly recommanded!
The Agamenon Hotel is located just by the south side of Mahon harbour, in the small town of Es Castell. Including a pool, one of its attractive features is its unique location overlooking the sea.

We stayed there for one night. Location was great, walking distance from city centre.

Lovely owner, that creates a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast I got from her in the early morning before going to the airport was really sweet. My room was on top of the roofs with 360 degree view, where I could see sunrise and sunset. If I will come back to Menorca, for sure I would return to this place!
Set just 2.5 km from Mahon Port, STARBAL Love provides accommodation in Es Castell with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen.

small working town with lots of historical connections and several wonderful coastal coves. Calas fonts is the largest and populated by a wide variety of bars, restaurants shops etc. as well as water taxis, fishing and pleasure boats. very popular in the evenings. between fonts and cala corb is the amin square with childrens play area and several bars, Cala corb itself has a late night bar which is the haunt of local musicians and opens from 10pm. and another bar restaurant which we ate at twice, lovelt food and a great selection of ice creams. Moa itself is a short bus ride or a lovely coastal walk away with all its harbour attractions, a large modern/local mix shopping area and the bus station for access to the rest of this beautiful island.

Easy going atmosphere, retained the Spanish feel even with tourists. No restaurants trying to pull you in. Very very good food along the harbour. More local restaurant S’Arraval needs booking in advance, as it’s away from the harbour it’s much more for locals, so sad we couldn’t get in.
Restaurants we really liked: Can Delio, Llenegal, Es Laut.
Bar Chespir.
No beaches in Es Castell, we had a car so traveled around the island so no problem.

Such an amazing small town with a port.
Such an amazing small town with a port. Easy to walk , restaurants all around. My favourite restaurant was Puerto Dip with fresh made food and reasonable prices. The guacamole is to die for. Rent the scooter and go around the island.

The Military Museum and the visit on a boat out to the Quarantine island were well worth doing. Excellent guide in English. Sorry can't remember the name of the island which began with an L.
We had half board in our hotel so didn't eat out much in the evening. Very easy to walk about. Good small shops and restaurants too.

Es Castell is a really nice place, and close to the hotel was a really nice and lively area with a lot of boats docked and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. It's a bit further away from beaches tho. You either have a car to go there or you can try getting taxi or bus. Bus times are nice during weekdays, weekends there are not that much.

Nice breakfast. Husband and wife proprietors.
Nice breakfast. Husband and wife proprietors. Efficient and pleasant. We arrived late evening and he was still up and waiting for us. Room far from luxury but adequate for our one night stay before moving on to Ciatadelli Air B&B. Close to airport.
An excellent end to our walk of the Cami de Cavalls footpath. The hotel overlooks the sea with plenty of tables, loungers etc. Dinner and breakfast are buffet and very good and our room was perfect (it's worth paying more for a sea view). The hotel is in a quiet part of Es Castell and about half an hour's walk into Mao (we were backpacking), but there is a bus stop close by. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and we look forward to going back one day, for a longer break. Thanks to everyone.
Good breakfasts, good shower, good views. The Agamenon is a perfectly adequate, if old-fashioned, hotel with a couple of good employees (Úrsula in reception, and the barman) and some others who frankly should consider a change of career. It also seems to have remarkably poor overall management, and unsatisfactory IT, as evidenced by the fact that a post-stay request for comments was sent twice to the same email address at the same time as a repeated pre-stay welcome message. Very amateurish.
Stayed for one night only. Horses for courses but not the place for me. Very basic, though only very slightly cheaper than the luxury hotel we had stayed in elsewhere on the island. Completely lacking any sense of Menorcan or Spanish style or culture. Although not evident through the marketing, the property is also known as Collingwood House, which is an indication of its nature. Felt like stepping back several decades into a parallel, jaded, very anglicised and anglocentric universe.
Nice hotel, it was located in a neighborhood so a little difficult for the taxi driver to find. I arrived around 8pm and the owner wasnt there so I had to call them to find where my room was. Once settled the room was nice and big and the shared bathroom also nice and spacious. There was a friendly cat in the garden which was a bonus! Friendly kitchen staff in the morning too.
This hotel, with an excellent location at the heart of Es Castell, is a hidden gem: a recently renovated town house with excellent taste and top quality amenities. Our Deluxe Suite was simply amazing, and the staff is fully devoted in ensuring you have a great experience - looking forward to coming back!
The hotel had an interesting array of service, including the swimming pool, billiard table and outside seating area at the front of the hotel for the bar. It also had a tennis court (never saw anyone using it) and very pleasant views across the harbour.
It is a very nice historic property.
Nice location in Es Castell, walkable to the marina, some cafés & restaurants around (check depending on the season!)
Nice roof top terra e to enjoy a sunrise coffee (provided)
Nice space utilisation in the room, nice shower and decor.
Secure entry, ease of check in /out
Excellent breakfast, big garden and pool area. Good shared facilities in outside kitchen area. Handy location to access Mahon and Es Castell. Extremely hard working member of staff on site at all times (think he was called Carlos) who couldn’t do enough to help.
Beautiful and natural rural hotel, surrounded by olive trees. Lovely and attentive staff. Great food. Nice walk to the coast with swimming rocks (not sandy beach). Rooms are great and modern. Very accessible to Mahon and surroundings.
Electronic check-in allows for check-in after midnight when most hotels in Menorca don't allow check-in. It's also not far from the airport, which allows for a functional one night stay.
