Gorgeous views down over the man made lake in the distance. Sizeable well furnished bedroom. Interesting to have a bull ring and mini church at the cortijo! Pleasant staff. Towels for pool. Serres white and rose wine nice. Lamb shank tasty. Breakfast was fine but fresh croissants would be a nice addition.

Very well equipped kitchen; there was even tea and coffee and kitchen towels and the lovely owner had even put us a bottle of water in the fridge! Perfect touch!
Great little bars and restaurants very close and a FANTASTIC swimming pool a few minutes drive which you can see from.the apartment.
Perfect base for visiting the surrounding areas.

Los Cactus is a beautiful tranquil stay in the mountains. So peaceful. The views are amazing. The pool was perfect. The most well kept gardens to sit in under the trees. A glass of wine and a good book is all you need. The sunsets on the roof top were amazing. A narrow ride to the villa but once you did it once it was fine. We walked into El Gastor a 30 minute walk not so good in the dark. A lovely spanish village with great food. Highly recommend coming here.
The Chalet was absolutely perfect! Fabiola and Rafael were lovely hosts who were on hand to support us with anything that we needed. We wanted a remote location in the countryside with very few distractions, fresh air and open spaces to enjoy. The view of El Tajo and El Gastor were mesmerising, so much so that we would while away the hours happily sipping wine, enjoying the view, the silence and just watching birds of prey riding the air thermals!
Refugio El Gastor is a really great villa, well appointed, spacious, picturesque, in a fabulous location perched on the side of a valley, and very private about 1km outside El Gastor itself. It is quite secluded and so takes a bit of finding even with the excellent directions provided but owners met us in El Gastor at close to midnight and we followed them in by car. Very pleasant owners.
Had a truly wonderful week here. The house was bright, welcoming and spotlessly clean, and we loved all the outside space - the shaded area with the oh-so-comfortable seating and the amazing view was a particular favourite. Well located for a walk into El Gastor too. We’d have no hesitation in booking again, if you’ll have us!
The location is stunning and very peaceful and private. You could sit outside looking at the view the whole time. The house has everything you could need and is located within a short drive of Ronda. The nearby village of El Gastor is also very nice. It's within driving distance of Jerez for a bodega tour or even Seville.
This property is an absolute gem. Wonderful views of the epic Andalusian landscape. Just 25 mins walk to El Gastor. Quiet, wonderful well maintained gardens and pool. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots of outdoor seating - the perfect getaway. Get local walks in the neighbouring hills and mountains.
We had a lovely stay in El Jaral. The house is in perfect location overlooking the hills and white villages. Perfect to go on trips and take a nice walk to El Gastor. The house is nice and spacious although it was a bit difficult to move in the bedroom. The owners are friendly and helpful.
