It’s a very old finca with their own olive grove just outside the town. Short drive to Ronda. Our rental was an independent cabin. Quiet, clean, private, comfortable, free parking on site, great price, nice staff. Very pleasant. Continental breakfast included.

Generally this place is a good value for money. It’s very simple, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 1-2days. Quite area. The room was clean, but a bit „tired“, which was not a big deal for us, as we stayed only for 1 night. What positively surprised us was the host and the staff, who were very kind to speak English to us (which is very rare in this area) and were overall very friendly and helpful (which is also a rare experience). The breakfast is not included, but it is delicious! Good road to Seville, 20-30mins away of the city.
Thank you for the experience!

We loved staying at Ganadería Virgen María. This is a cattle ranch, where they raise the mighty toros bravos. If you’re into the ranch lifestyle, then you’ll absolutely love it here. It is peaceful, the food delicious, very family-style.
The hosts, Irene and her parents, are generous and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.

A really special place far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, waking up to an amazing view of trees and the pool, and then going for breakfast and then taking a walk in this huge property where you can see up close horses and cows. Such an amazing experience! We were a bit unlucky with the weather and were only able to swim once during our stay , but we really enjoyed everything. If you want to really relax and have quality time with your family, this is the place to be. The breakfast is simple and humble but really enough, there is sweet and there is salty (chocolate croissant), apricot jam, fruits, etc. And there is juice, ham, cheese and of course coffee.
Located in Gerena, 14 miles from Isla Mágica, Hotel Cortijo El Esparragal provides accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.
Staff were ok, friendly. The sauce on our chicken meal was really good. These are the only two things we can be positive about.
We were not happy with the hotel or our room in general. There is no heating in this hotel. It was absolutely freezing. We have never been so cold. Obviously not a hotel to visit in January.
The only thing they had to keep us warm whilst having lunch was a fire pit bowl under the table which was filled with hot coals! Unusual and definitely a safety hazard! It did keep our legs warm whilst the rest of our bodies froze. We went to bed with all our clothes on !!! Never done that in a hotel before. Take it off your listings! Our room was nothing like the photograph on line.
