It was perfect for our needs. Centre of the beautiful town of Tarbena with all its rustic charm.
Ideal location to start any of the surrounding mountain walks from, returning for lunch at any of the cute cafes in the plaza or surrounding side streets.
Juan our host was extremely helpful sharing tons of knowledge about the history of the area, generous with his time and experience, we learned so much and look forward to the next time we can return to Tarbena

Superb value for a basic hotel. Room cleaned daily, shower power excellent and hot, free car park opposite, near to a number of shops and food outlets, free Wifi, English spoken at reception, electronic key card entry, TV and aircon. Just about everything covered, can't say rairer than that!

The host was extremely friendly and gave us all of the information we needed, the place was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed, the design was out of this world and the attention to detail was on point. The pool area was beautiful and the terrace too, what a beautiful village to stay in, in such a fantastic room. We will return for sure! Thank you.

A lovely typical Spanish village.
A lovely typical Spanish village. The walk up to the castle wasn’t as arduous as expected & well worth it for the views at the top. Lots of little souvenir shops & bars & restaurants. We stayed at El Tossal which I would happily recommend, a family run hotel, spotlessly clean & in walking distance of the village & castle. Unfortunately we stayed on a Monday night & everywhere was closed, worth knowing if you are planning a trip, nowhere to eat after 6pm but was fine for us as we ate early.
