The location is really nice. It was quite and a little away from the crowded spots. It was also near the bus stops so the access to the rest of the near places was really really nice. It was also quite safe to walk at any time of the day and night. We were always quite comfortable.

When you get tired of indulging yourself with sunbathing and endless entertainment, local transport can take you to Palma to admire the medieval Old Town, just 15 km away.

There were plenty of places to eat and have coffee, the back streets were a bit rough looking but the promenade along the front was lovely.
The food was not very cheap but not too expensive either if you chose carefully where you eat.
All the staff at the coffee bars were friendly and not too pushy especially the 'Salsa' bar which had an hours free salsa dancing lessons on Saturday.
It was only a 20 minute bus ride into Palma (on the express bus) and only 2 euros. The buses seemed to run quite late. Palma is a beautiful town but I'm glad we stayed out at El Arenal which had all the facilities but was a little quieter.
I can imaging the beach in the warmer weather would be really nice.

The area around the hotel compared to nearby areas were not as clean and friendly. Of an evening you are constantly hounding with drugs sales and men walking alone are handed leaflets for a nearby brothel. In my personal experience i couldnt go back to this location because of this.

All inclusive terrible as was not worth it , line to get water was impossible in the evening only one bar open they should have water and soft drinks on the side I am non drinker and wait for water 30 min it’s a no no , I was buying drinks and coffee in local shops , food was really bad too I never had as bad experience like this one

El arenal is probably the worst part of spain I’ve been. There is litter and lucky lucky men everywhere. You are bothered in bars and restaurants. It seems more of a location for youngsters partying. If you like architecture and history and quiet relaxing holidays do not come here.
I’m 35 and I could not cope with it. Also seems like a same sex couple destination, a lot of Dutch people at the location.

Nice area. Delighted with the length of the promenade as we hired bikes & cycled the 11 kms to Palma. Hope to return at some point. Enjoyed the local tapis bars & restaurants. Beaches were clean & easily accessed.

Arenal is a busy party town, though you can be party free that noone bothers you.
There will be plenty of Germans and Dutch but English and Spanish are also used, though some places there was no Spanish speaking.
Arenal is in a convenient location with sandy beach and clear waters. Close to the airport which makes it nice if you don't have many days to stay and want to reduce travel time.
There are plenty of amenities around or bus to go to other towns. Plenty of water activities there and most of hotels have swimming pools.
It can be quite busy on the weekend
This is the first time we have stayed in a 2 star hotel, the 2 we stayed in after this one were both 4 star. This one bears them all hands down.
The room was lovely staff fantastic and really helpful. We stayed and had a drink at the bar ice cold beer glasses and very good price.
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic the best we had during are stay in Majorca. Plenty of choice with great staff.
I would highly recommend this hotel and for a price of £47 for 2 it’s a no brainer.
The hotel is in a very nice position, about 5 minutes from the beach. The staff was very kind and helpful, they explained pretty much everything there is to know about El Arenal and how to move around the island. The breakfast/brunch was good too, nice variety of food for any needs even though it was basic. Rooms were very clean and the facilities they offer are pretty decent for the price. I recommend it if your planning a trip in El Arenal.
The breakfast was good, dinner was good either. For 3 star hotel even more than enough. It included eggs, salad, meat and some vegetables.
To sum up, the meal is ok, I can recommend.
The hotel is located close to the beach, and it’s the biggest advantage. Staff is super friendly.
Room has been cleaned every day, towels are clean and housekeepers changed them every day as well.
The food was what you would expect for an all inclusive buffet, there was some variety each day. The pool was lovely with enough loungers for everyone.
I visited this hotel in order to visit the UK from a red list country (UAE), I had to spend a total of 14 days here. I wouldn't choose to stay here again for an actual holiday but it was perfect for my travel reasons.
Everything was good compared to the price. One thing i knew about from the comments before i book, was young German getting very loud in the corridors at midnight. I really had the same (woke up twice in two different nights) which is very annoying. I hope the hotel will do something to solve this unacceptable behavior. Other than that staff and hotel is really good
We have been staying at the Hostal for already the second time. The location is brilliant, the personnel is very friendly and helpful. The amenities are not big but cosy.
Despite being situated in El Arenal and in a relative proximity to the Bierkönig, it's quiet in the hotel at night.
We are looking forward to staying at Tierramar again.
Great hotel in a somewhat quieter area near El Arenal. Great amenities and restaurants nearby. Perfect if you want to be near the lively areas, but not right in the middle of it so you can actually get some good rest.

The hotel itself is a great place to spend vaccation, including wonderfull breakfasts in beautifull located rooms with a little private galery in the hallway. the cleaning servis was amazing, always done on a great level with very friendly staff.
Responsive staff helps you with the questions of any kind. Location is very closed to different beach locations in El Arenal and outside (especially Calo Fort). You can rent the vehicles at the front desk which is really convenient.
