The room we booked had an awful toilet smell

Views from the balcony terrace was beautiful but the room was booked with a double bed plus a futon we did not get this
Just a double bed and two chairs without seat cushions
We stayed only one night not the 3 paid for and left the following morning

Everything was great: the bed, the room, the breakfast, the pool area and the stunning views. We were really relaxed. I didn't know there was a small fridge, but was pleasently surprised. It was also possible to buy beverages and beer from tap.
The hosts were also really sweet and their small restaurant served some of the best food.

However, keep in mind that it's located 10 km away from Malaga, and the narrow and winding roads can be a bit challenging to drive on. If you're comfortable with this, then Cutar is an ideal place to unwind and recharge. It's recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the city. Just be prepared for the journey to get there!

A lovely village with a wonderful bar (the only one!)
A lovely village with a wonderful bar (the only one!) and a great little shop. We were there to go walking and the trails were just great although there was no waymarking. An added bonus was the use of the public pool which is a new addition to the village.
