Fantastic and super helpful and knowledgeable host. She made the place
With a picturesque setting by the Sella River, Hotel Santa Cruz is 25 km from Asturia's coastline and a 2-minute walk from Cangas de Onís' famous Roman bridge. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
Historical building with lots of character and an interesting contrast of original charm and contemporary interior design.

Great location in the town. It is basic but comfortable. It is clearly an event location and the night we stayed there was a wedding and so our floor was filled with wedding guests who decided to continue the party on our floor. At 1am I asked everyone to stop.
This restored Asturian house is located in Cangas de Onís, next to the town’s famous Roman bridge. It offers a 24-hour reception and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a spa bath.
The Hotel La Ercina is located in the beautiful countryside of Intriago, just 7 km from Cangas de Onís. It offers free parking, a bar-café and spacious, elegant rooms.

Very nice and cozy place, friendly staff, good food, breakfast could be increased in choice but by Spanish standards it’s better than average, very clean and quiet place. Highly recommend
Hotel Capitan is located 1.5 km from central Cangas de Onís.quad biking. Located next to the River Sella, the hotel can arrange canoeing trips down the river.

Location not far from Cangas, quite ok breakfast, nice personnel, big parking. Enough for 1 night but not too comfortable.
The town was incredibly busy during August. It was challenging to find parking space, and the tourist bus to the glacial lakes was fully booked. The weather was warm (high 20s celcius) which was ideal.
We enjoyed having dinner and Asturian cider at Restaurante Los Texos (ask the staff to pour the cider, don't do it yourself. It requires a specific method).
In our next visit we will go when it is less busy, and book tickets in advance for local attractions.

A really interesting area that was unexpectedly busy.
A really interesting area that was unexpectedly busy. This is a really popular spot for mainly Spanish tourism as far as I could tell.
The monastery was fantastic as were the lakes that really are worth the 9 euro bus ride to get to (the only way up aside from walking or cycling).

A cute tiny city with amazing views. 15-20 mins by bus to the famous Lagos de Covadonga (lakes). I recommend taking bus as the roads are narrow and might be difficult to drive. There are restaurants, hotels and free parking. Ideal for those who want to visit Lagos de Covadonga. Also, there is a breathtaking church in the mountains.

A lovely place to go to renew your spirit and breath the incredibly clean, mountain air. Don't miss Lagos de Covadonga when you are there!
fantastic place - clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. the staff went the extra mile to answer our questions even though language was an issue, and I would recommend this place 100% for anyone looking to stay near the covadonga area
Bea and her family made us feel very welcome. Their home is beautiful, and we loved our room and wonderful view into the mountains. The location is amazing, with a nice footpath into Covadonga and up to the basilica.
We plan to return!
The owner of the hotel went above and beyond for us, he helped us with hiking routes and lunch reservations. The free breakfast was substantial and freshly made!
