The staff (except for one waiter at rooftop restaurant) were friendly and helpful. Marga, the guest manager was friendly and helpful. However, the room initially given to me should never have been given to anyone as it smelled of sewage leak both in the room and corridor.
Breakfast was okay, but they had run out of butter (!) and one of the coffee machines was broken so there were long queues. Hotel is generally clean, but in need of painting of many doors and better cleaning of elevator doors. In the breakfast room, there is a door to a room from which someone brings more cutlery, cups, plates etc. and the door to this room and entrance area (wall, floor) is not clean at all, so that is not very nice for guests of the hotel eating in that breakfast room. It´s possible to sit at a table outside, but there, there are often people smoking. Overall, it´s a nice hotel with nice staff, but in my opinion, is not meeting four star level and standards and is too expensive for what you get. For example, I had a much better breakfast and overall experience at the Fergus Bermuda which is an old hotel in Palmanova.

The reception staff were fantastic. The pool area was so enjoyable, it was spacious and although the hotel was busy it was quiet. Not once did we have to look for sun loungers. It was a lovely peaceful atmosphere. It is a short walk down to Puerto Portals. Taxis had no problem bringing us back up the hill for less than 5 euro 😄 The breakfast buffet was very good. We did not use the Spa but it did look lovely. There was a very spacious gym with all you could need there too.
