The rooms are cosy and the property is beautifully refurbished and maintained. Eugenia is a fantastic host and takes time to speak to her guests. She offers a tasty dinner option as well as well as breakfast, drinks and lots of other extras. She really is a lovely lady, and I would definitely visit again, maybe to even check out the local wineries, or as an alternative to staying downtown Zamora.

It was more like an apartment than a room! There was a sitting area, an entrance with somewhere to put shoes and coats, and a balcony with a great view. The huge bathroom had a bath as well as a shower, with a bidet and dressing gowns and slippers. The bed was the largest I've ever seen, and was firm but comfortable, and the room was dark and quiet for sleeping. There was a proper kettle for making our tea and instant porridge. We didn't have breakfast, as we were in a hurry, but we wished we'd booked 2 nights! The hotel is right in the centre of Zamora, so we could walk everywhere. The parking was excellent with a lift to bring up your luggage.

The Hostería Real de Zamora is located in the historic centre of the city, next to the Romanesque stone bridge.

Reception and checking out was perfect; nice personnel; excellent location in the old city. The beds were not the best, meaning not for a 4 stars hotel; in our opinion, the 4 stars rating is a bit inflated.

Modern ,somewhat like a boutique hotel. Very comfortable. You meet the reception at a certain time. They check you in then are gone. You are on your own. Interesting and it works.
