Hotel was absolutely stunning, whilst a fair drive from Barcelona, we were there in under 2hrs. The setting is incredible against the mountainous backdrop. Our room was sizeable and very well designed. The pool area lovely as was the restaurant, whether that was the large terrace or inside. We also took the wine tasting experience, which was great. Locally the monastery well worth a visit at Cartoixa d'Escaladei & the second day we drove up to La Morera de Montsant and went hiking up towards the cliff edges - spectacular.

The location, service, food, and friendliness are all superb at this hotel, we were made to feel welcome. We dined both evenings in the lovely restaurant with stunning views and food to match, this is truly a very talented chef, and the service is so very professional but warm. A big effort to talk to us in English was so very much appreciated , tho one of us speaks Spanish, Catalan is completely different. This hotel has much character and knowledge of the area, wines. food is willingly shared. This warmth and friendliness was also shown and shared by Pruna the beautiful family dog. We hope one day to return.
The accommodation was super clean and had everything that we needed. The central location in Cornudella was ideal for when we had to go out for breakfast, supplies, evening meal etc. The parking spot is also only a minutes walk down the road too. Our host Aga was extremely friendly, helpful and always available at the drop of a hat - whether it was recommending places to eat/climb or letting us back into our flat after we'd locked ourselves out on forgetting the key (doh!)
This was everything we expected and hoped for. The breakfast was excellent. There was a delicious croissant and bread , cheeses, a little fruit, and orange juice, plus plenty of good coffee. All beautifully served on a linen tablecloth.
It should be noted that there is a ceiling fan in the room, not air conditioning. There are pleasant sitting areas. There is hanging space for clothes, but no shelves or drawers. This may be normal in Spanish hotels
The location is great to get away of crowds. The house is amazing, perfect for 6 ppl. It is fully equipped, the kitchen, the rooms, bathrooms, the pool and barbecues.
It's quite easy to get to the Pantano walking and or car, also to get into Priorat is easy as well.
The little town next to, Cornudella, is quite small, but lovely.
I strongly recommend it, and for sure I'll be back.

This location was perfect for our family while travelling to climb in nearby Siurana. Maria was amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. While I'm sure Cornudella has many great rentals, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. I will be sure to book this apartment next time I am in town. Thank you so much for hosting us!
Our stay at El Palauet del Priorat was incredible! The staff was very friendly and responsive, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Also, the restaurant in the hotel is very nice and we had a delicious dinner and great breakfast. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice stay in the Spanish countryside.
Everything was absolutely amazing about this hotel. We are so glad we went off the beaten path to spend the night and have dinner there. The details in the design are some of the best we have ever seen coupled with the hospitality and passion of the host and delicious food, we truly could not have asked for a better experience. Very cute apartment right in the heart of Cornudella. Apartment was perfect size for our family. Kids loved the bunk beds and playing cards on rooftop deck. We fell in love with Cornudella and surrounding areas. Beautiful towns and hiking
The location is great and the apartment was very comfortable. We loved it so much that it was hard to leave. There was parking around the side of the building and an easy walk to all the restaurants of Cornudella
