The hotel is very modern and has all the facilities you could need. The room was lovely, with and very nice bathroom and a walkin shower. The air con was cool and very quiet during the night.
With out doubt the best part was breakfast, so much choice.
The staff also deserve a special mention as they were all helpful and spoke many languages.
I was also able to park my car undercover and also charge it at the same time

The Hotel far exceeded our expectations. The Hotel generally is superb, yet small ( boutique ), and attention to details extremely well thought through. Rooms were spacious and thought had been put into the design and furnishings. The staff were informative and engaging and the food was excellent. We will definitely stay at la Fornal again !!!

The hospitality, the location, the desired detail to meet the needs of each customer, the unexpected personal care to apease each person staying at the hotel, was beyond appreciated and impressionable. You felt like you were staying at a family or friends breathtaking estate verses at a hotel. The food was exceptionally delicious. The ambiance was extremely warming and comfortable. The views were spectacular. The owner, hosts, were extremley generous, courteous, kind, warm, friendly, and very very hospitable. Their attention to detail and desire to welcome you go beyond words.
The location was perfect, quiet area, close to woods and nature. But only a short drive to the small town of Cistella nearby and only just a bit longer drive to the main town of Figueres. The house we rented had plenty of space and everything was at hand to make our stay comfortable. Loved the log burner which we used but the house also has central heating and every part of the house cosy and warm, even the bathrooms!
Great location next to Cistella in the midst of nature, and a great swimming pool to spend a few days relaxing. The receptionists, the cooks, the cleaning lady and all the staff were very nice and made sure our stay was very pleasant.
