The hotel was very clean great WiFi with QR code. Coffee and snacks left out for us. Great communication. Near the ferry by taxi 10 mins and 11 euros Hotel looks dated in bathroom but it was very clean. Great community outside hotel and food to eat

The Continental Breakfast was fine, but we had considerable difficulty in getting the coffee machine to work. Its location within 10 minutes of the ferry was an advantage. I should also mention the friendly and helpful staff, especially on Reception. The availability of covered parking was a positive as parking on the streets around the hotel would be difficult.

This hotel is a former palatial home dating back to the 18th century, situated close to Arena Beach and 20 minutes' drive from central Bilbao.

Everything about the hotel was fabulous. The decor, the view, the staff, the rooms, the breakfast and of course the lovely receptionist who was very informative and her English was good enough in that we were able to understand her as our Spanish is nearly non existent. The selection for breakfast was very good as well. When we were told the times of the breakfast we picked it up wrong. She gave us a time of 10.30 and we said that would do, but what she was telling us was that it was over at 10.30 am. She was very nice when we apologised and still let us have breakfast.
