The casa is in the centre of town, right next to the bakery (which felt like the heartbeat of the village). Not too noisy, except for the Easter celebrations which we could hear in some of the rooms from the town square.

Lovely clean room above a bar. Not noisy, and had a lovely meal in the restaurant. On the main street, no parking immediately outside, but owner opened up his garage for us to put our motorcycle in. Found a bakery just round the corner for a good breakfast.

Lovely setting and tranquil.
Slept really well, both of us.
Relaxing and a lovely pool.

I loved the location of the house and Chulilla. The owners were super kind and helpful. The apartment had all that we needed except cool air. I just didn't like being hot after all day being outdoors. It's summer in Spain. The air-conditioning is only upstairs in the hallway so it took a while to cool off the upstairs. And downstairs was unbearably hot. There was a small fan and that's it.
There's no bathroom upstairs, annoying but not the end of the world. Otherwise the place is nice and clean.

For a quiet 2/3 days peace and relaxation it’s perfect.
For a quiet 2/3 days peace and relaxation it’s perfect. Scenery is stunning, nice walks. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. We ate at our accommodation...El Pozo... food was fantastic. All home made, tasty and well presented. You need to park on the outskirts of the town and in the town it’s impossible, but this was no hardship.

This is a really good place to spend some days at.
This is a really good place to spend some days at.
Especially if you like nice scenery, peace and quiet, hiking, rock climbing, history... This place has it all.
Just be aware of the opening times for the restaurants, which are close on Sunday afternoon...
Although, I do recommend Hoces del Turia and El Pozo for a nice meal.
The location was fantastic, perfectly situated in the heart of Chulilla but also very quiet. The views from the windows across the valley and the gorge were spectacular. La Casucha has been created to a very high specification with great style and taste with quirky interesting stylistic details. We would certainly stay there every time we visit family in the village. It was perfect!
Casa del Herrero is centrally located in Chulilla with parking nearby. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard and has everything you need. It was beautifully clean and very comfortable. Victor contacted us by WhatsApp and provided lots of useful information about places to visit and was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
In the heart of village the hotel is an absolute gem. The food was delicious, the staff were all lovely and the surrounding countryside was picturesque.
