Location was close to the main TF-1 road which was good. Communication and instruction about how to check in was good. Great views from the roof terrace.

We were greeted upon our arrival by friendly staff at the reception and Francisco kindly helped us settle in by briefing us on the amenities and what we can expect from our stay which left a great first impression. The team had kindly left a bottle of Fizz for us and rose petals in our room as we were staying for our honeymoon which was incredibly thoughtful and a lovely touch to our experience. The breakfast buffet options were plentiful and we never had a problem finding a sun lounger. There were plenty of small restaurants directly opposite the hotel and up the hill within a ten minute walk and we found ourselves staying for the hotel evening show every night due to how varied and fun they were. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, low-key holiday stay with enough nearby eating options but easy access to other parts of the island also available through the taxi rank directly outside the hotel.

Very nice room, lots of space and a good shower. Big wardrobes and sufficient storage. Bed and pillows were comfy and I sometimes very well. Several pools and fairly well kept gardens with lovely plants, flowers and sculptures. As a red level guest, you have access to everywhere whereas other guests must stick to the family / general areas. Clarins spa - both staff and treatment - were excellent. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to deal with.

Clean, staff were lovely, love the pool facilities. It was very relaxed and we had an amazing time. They cater very well for children as well.

Chio is outside the touristic attractions, only touched by a main road from the south (los Gigantes) to el Teide.
Some small supermarkets, some local restaurants, a gasstation (last one befor Teide).
If you go to chalet rustico you dont go there for chio, but as as perfect starting place for hiking/cycling las Canadas, el Teide, Teno Alto, Masca.
But beaches (Alcala, San Juan, los Gigantes) are in reach, also easy access to motorway to TFS airport.
