We were travelling around rural Spain by motorcycle and booked the hotel on the day we arrived we were treated to home made meals, dinner and breakfast which was really good. The room was very comfortable.

Location was what we wanted, so it was perfect. The village is very lively in summer, we assumed it was the village festival when we saw that many people in the village but apparently that is normal for summer, so the hotel may not be suitable for people who want 100% peace and quiet, but perfect for those that want to discover this incredibly beautiful village and the surroundings. Pedro, the host, doubles up as a tourist information officer and he is very knowledgeable and friendly about all related with Poza de la Sal. We recommend to have breakfast here, other bars are great in the village but better for tapas and meals, not that good for breakfast.

A quiet rural location in a small village with no facilities to speak of. A quirky guest house in an interesting old building. The dining room used to be a chapel! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Dinner at the guest house was good value and tasty... a good job as there are no restaurants nearby. The nearest bar is a 15 minute walk away. There is no on-site parking available. We parked our motorbikes on the narrow street just outside the guest house. Friendly staff. Ok for a one night stop over on the way back to the Santander ferry.
