A beautifully restored old stone building (ex-monastery?), very comfortable with superb spa baths in rooms. Very peaceful location near fabulous surfing beach. No restaurant on site but one ten minutes walk away overlooking the beach.

I loved the wonderful people that own this place. They are so very welcoming.
The property is outstanding.
Unfortunately the floors a little creaky which really wouldn't bother me but are loud enough to wake people up during bathroom trips through the night.
Overall I loved it.
A hidden gem.
Note- if you are doing the camino there are no restaurants close by unless you want to head out for another walk.

Very helpful lady handled our check in, and provided us with passes to Cathedrals Beach.
The rooms were of a good size. Shower was fine, and the beds were comfy.

We did NOT stay at Hotel Mediante as on inspection it was sub-standard accommodation. Please refer to our cancellation. Please also follow up on our behalf your request for this Hotel to make an exception for us as I did stipulate a minibar as my husband is a diabetic and needed a minibar to
store medication and walk-in shower but received no response from the Hotel prior to our stay.
I expect more from Booking.com in your choice of Hotels to ensure accuracy in your advertisements on your website.
Really friendly helpful staff, nothing to much for them, really clean lovely decorated rooms, great location for cycling along the coast, parking right outside hotel. Couldn't ask for more for out passing trip. Restaurant available when we wanted. Everything we needed was available. Fantastic place
Booked this fantastic hotel during a road trip on the Cantabrian way in Asturias for one night. Nice Rural hotel with relaxing lounge and good breakfast, with a knowledgeable host. Close to Ribadeo and the A8 autovia.
