This has been my favourite Albergue on the Camino so far. The care taken to make it inviting is obvious when you walk through the front doors. Potted flowers well tended to everywhere, extremely clean and new facilities, comfortable bunks and the hospitality was second to none. Pilgrim dinner of fresh chicken legs, warm bread and flavourful rice was amazing. I have had a hard time finding nutritious breakfasts as I’m not a fan of white bread and coffee in the morning. They had yogurt, cereal, fresh cake, and large bowl of cut up fresh fruit. Great way to start a long walk!

Castrojeriz, Albergue Orion was a hostal for pilgrims but we had an actual room with private bath. We had the meal on offer which was Korean vegetables over rice with soup & egg. The folks that ran it were really great. A Korean woman did all the food, Mustafa was the greeter and check-in guy then there was a sweet young French girl and a young fellow who were the extra help. Well run operation. Good parking.

A delightful place to stay , an exceptional welcome from the host who took care to make her guests very welcome . The bed was wonderful and I had the best sleep of my life there . I overslept and was late for breakfast and the host laid out a delicious breakfast for me . I hope to stay there again .
Hotel room was clean. Nice little balcony but could only use it to dry our clothes. Our room was western exposure and became extremely hot. Unbearable . I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. Hotel was basically empty and they could have been thoughtful enough to put us on Northern or Eastern exposure. If I had know I would have asked for the western or eastern side.

Brand new boutique hotel, build on the grounds of the ruins of a convent. The facility and rooms are completely modern and very casual chic. Large grounds behind the hotel, there is a restaurant, which I did not try but the menu sounded quite interesting. They have a self serve mini snacks, wine and beer alcove. A very tranquil and beautiful stay, highly recommended.
Amazing new albergue just at the entrance of Castrojeriz. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and helped organise a taxi back to Burgos for my husband. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Castrojeriz is a lovely town with loads of history - possibly one of my favourite stops on the Camino so far!
Located right at the end of Castrojeriz, Rosalia is a great pilgrim hostel to mingle with other pilgrims. It doesn't take long for Rosalia fill up. I enjoy my stay here. Javier is a great host and the breakfast was perfect for the next day's walk!
