Location is easy stroll to the city centre. Clean & comfortable spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Secure underground motorcycle parking (€16.50)bit steep but if in a group 3 bikes will fit in a space to split the cost.All Staff are great .Would definitely stay here again

Breakfast we had delicious croissants with coffee. Dinner was good, menu all in Spanish as very little English spoken but we managed.

This hotel is clean and comfortable and the reception staff were exceptionally helpful car parking was arranged as request. We had a continental breakfast which was fairly basic.
As an overnight stop the hotel was acceptable. For a longer stay, it would be nice to have had a bed that wasn't so hard. I can't say if all the mattresses are the same as this was the first time we stayed but you know when you sit on the bed and it doesn't move with the weight of a heavy adult it is more than firm.
The staff were great but apart from being able to get a coffee and a toasty there were no facilities open, this may have been the time of year as they were catering for a large external party downstairs in the restaurant during the day.
There is a restaurant a few hundred metres away but that wasn't open at lunch so we eneded up buying a couple of baggettes from Lidl. The staff were kind enough to provide us some cutlery and they didn't mind us taking food to our room.
It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room however I seem to recall a coffee machine in the cafe part of the hotel were you could get a drink.

Great stop for an overnight stay before travelling to Santander or Bilbao. The address needs updating on the Booking.com website as the Hotel is in Los Tomillares (on the N120) and not in the village of Castrillo del Val.

The location and parking out of the historic center. The decorating is an interesting blend of 90’s country, the old feel is quaint. Just a classy hotel, not far from Burgos. Clean and tidy, nicely decorated with religious antiques, free parking, elevator, warm room, comfortable bed, comfortable bathroom, breakfast salon and bar.
Very friendly and very clean. For the price it was better than expected. Paid 50€ for a single room and it was more than I have gotten from a “better” hotel in other locations
I like this hotel if it is close to the Camino de Frances. Unfortunately it is too far away and difficult to find the way. Google keeps providing wrong way to me.
