Close to Via de la Plata and backed onto Via Verde (our room had views of this); bath was most welcome after a long day; food was excellent! This is a popular food stop for truck drivers. The menu del día was cheap, filling and tasty. Service was quick. Breakfast the next morning started at 7 am and was equally good.

It was a great hostal in a lovely little town between Granadilla and Hervás, which were amazing places to visit. There was a kitchen and common room to use and the beds were really comfy. Parking on the streets outside was easy and the price fantastic. I definitely recommend it.

We liked the location, it was very rural and peaceful, and very relaxing after a long drive. We liked the fact that we had an outside area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.

Susana and her husband did everything possible to take care of me. Copious laughter and good will made up for my inability to communicate in Spanish. They were an absolute delight 😊 and the hotel is a gem.

We have stayed here in the past . The house is very well equipped , very comfortable . The outdoor area is really nice to have some wine at night . No problem for parking , very secured house with an electric gate and you have access to different villages . I recommend to see the Granadilla’s castle .
