Helpful and friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Really liked the system to request cleaning! I thought that housekeeping did a wonderful job.
Breakfast had a lot of options, and the dining room was nice. We also ordered room service one night, which we enjoyed. Parking the car was easy, and we loved how secure it was!
We stayed at several places across Spain this trip, and of the more metropolitan stays, this was by far the best value!
Hotel Chiqui offers great views of the Cantabrian Sea and El Sardinero Beach. Set by the sea and just 1.9 mi from Santander Ferry Terminal, it features an infintiy pool overlooking the surroundings.

Wow! what a gorgeous view of the bay from our room! The hotel is at the end of a promenade/boardwalk next to the water and the beach. This is a very nice hotel with all beach views and a terrific restaurant. There is a cafe just 100yds away for a quick typical breakfast for cheap. Rooms were very clean and we had a great balcony. just behind the hotel is a 1-2 mile walk to a promontory with gardens and amazing views. I almost forgot that almost directly behind the hotel and up the hill is an amazing garden that overlooks the sea on a hill. Definitely worth the short walk. This hotel is an awesome value for the money. we spent 2 nights here. Parking is free and buses stop close by.

Loved the Buffet Breakfasts and the lunches in the dining room. All staff was courteous and helpful. Location was great - close to beach, shops, restaurants and bank to get Euros - and machines for water. Also a plus that the Hop Off-Hop On Bus leaves from across the street!
