We had lovely stay, Frank and Saskia were fabulous hosts. We were hiking and Frank picked us up from our finish point and dropped us back off. The dinner and breakfast were as fabulous as the rooms and setting. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer

It really is a small pearl in this region. Sweet Water is an authentic and very cosy and original decorated typical house with a splendid view on the mountains. It is very tranquil and a delight to wake up in the morning, opening the curtains and have this fantastic view.
The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and do everything they can to make your stay as delightful as possible.
The B&B offers several opportunities to relax, downstairs a living room with sofa and a variety of books to read, and upstairs a large rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Furthermore I booked a relaxing massage which was fantastic!! The lady of the house is very skilled and I can warmly recommend to have a massage from her.
This rustic hotel is set between the Conde del Guadalhorce and Guadalteba Reservoirs in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Park. It offers spacious rooms with scenic forest views and free Wi-Fi.

We really enjoyed our room view. An odd to nature it self! The staff simpathy and kindness - Gregório, was the best host. Explaining us the best way to reach Caminitos entrance. Super cool with us!
Loved it

My stay at the Finca La Piedra was perfect for what I was looking for on my trip to Alora. Jane was the perfect host and a vital source of information for a non Spanish speaker. Furthermore the duck eggs as a 'welcome pack' tasted amazing.
The property is slightly remote - so if you're not prepared to walk or don't have your own vehicular transport, that could be a problem.

Carratraca is a typical small village near the mountains at 46 km from Malaga and the sea.
It used to be famous for its thermal facilities and has a 5* luxe hotel but unfortunately closed after COVID.. There are 2 local supermarkets, 2 restaurants and a café. From Carratraca there are several beautiful walkings you can make in the woods. And El Chorro where the famous Camininto del Rey starts, is only 11km away..
