It offers basic, but comfortable rooms -- the decor is dated and the facilities are limited, but if you what you need is a room and a meal, then you should be satisfied. They have a good restaurant downstairs and the staff is friendly in the best Andalusian fashion.

I love the location and the rustic charm of the building but still with essential modcons such as AC. The host does everything possible to be helpful and friendly. I was only there for a short stay but I'm sure I will come back, I can't recommend it enough.

The resident puppy and the shower. I don't want to leave a negative review because it's possible that COVID has had an impact & we stayed out of season. The restaurant wasn't open at all but as there were only 4 guests I don't think it was unreasonable. The air con looked brand new & it looked like the room had recently had new windows & been decorated. Top marks to housekeeping, the room & bathroom were spotless. Although the furniture was a bit 'retro' it didn't really bother us. The bedside lamp didn't work & a bulb in the main light needed replacing.
What was slightly weird was on Sunday there didn't seem to be anyone there at all - the bar wasn't open so we had to go out through the night entrance to get to our campervan to make a coffee in the morning. We didn't see anybody there until we left on Monday morning.
I'm sure in high season it is, or has been a popular hotel.

Superb location and interior design of the Villa. Very large rooms with comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms. The garden and the view are very relaxing. Good breakfast and dinner.
I had a really nice stay. Catharina is very nice and courteous host. She provides you with all necessary information about the village and the surrounding area. And is always there to answer questions or help otherwise. The hotel is a place of relaxation and comfort. You can even have a massage in the hotel. The little terrace is perfect to enjoy the delicious breakfast. I definitely will we back.
Loved the location and the rustic style of the posada.It was so peaceful and quiet. Katarina the host could not have given a friendlier welcome and helped make my stay most enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent. If you are looking for accommodation in the area I can thoroughly recommend the posada. For a small town carcabuey has a lot more to offer than some larger towns I have stayed in.
We really enjoyed our stay. Carcabuey is a lovely town and the locals are really friendly. We liked the apartment, the host was very warm and welcoming and takes good care of the guests and the breakfast was tasty.
Catharina was a congenial host with a wealth of information of Carcabuey and the surrounding areas. Excellent breakfast on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day.
