We were welcomed with amazing hospitality at Casa da Rosa! The little farm that has been in the family for generations is an amazing home away from home. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location of El Remanso is rural - some 5 kms from the town - so suitable for outdoorsy people but not for everyone: getting an evening meal would be difficult for people with young children. We decided on an early pizza so as not to have to drive out into town again. The host was very friendly and eager to promote his region. He had lots of leaflets and was keen to tell us the best places to visit. He was very helpful when we had a problem. The breakfast was simple but the host was keen to make sure we had enough, offering us more coffee or toast, for example.

Super nice old school house, excellent sleep, it is so silent during the evening, so peaceful and the air is so fresh and clean. Breakfast has any options you wish, but you have to clearly ask the owner what, when and how much you need.

This is a great choice for visiting As Catedrais, just a short stroll away. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Ask for a room away from other guests to ensure a good night. But the best attribute of the hotel is the host Fernando, who exemplifies excellent customer service. We were given detailed info on places to eat and sights to see for our drive onwards, tailored to our preferences. Thank you so much.
