Font Rubi is a relaxing place, made up of mainly second residence of Catalan families, who come during the holiday season and, to a lesser degree, in weekends. It is about five kilometers from the interesting Camprodon (where you will find all necessary services as well as a challenging golf course). Great for hiking and close enough to VallTer 2000, to access the higher hiking tracks.

The hotel / room was very nice. The area is beautiful and I can recommend both the hotel and area. Beds were comfy and the room was great. We had bikes with us. I had forgotten to inform the hotel about the fact we were arriving on bikes that needed to be stored securely overnight. The hotel was very accommodating and lock them up for us in a nearby garage. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very nice in the morning.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The family were all very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the river. The traditional hotel with interesting features and period furniture is in a quiet location but close to all the local amenities. I am 80 years old and I have serious difficulties going up and down stairs. I discovered, with a great surprise, that the hotel had no lift and I was assigned a room in the second floor. As I had made a reservation, I paid the fee but did not stay. It is just an inadequate hotel for old people.
