The location of this property is outstanding, it's setting truly magical. It is conveniently situated between visitor attractions but is extremely peaceful set in the countryside and surrounded by mountains. The property reminded us of a swiss chalet with all the beautiful geraniums dangling from its windows. We paid €8.50 extra each to have breakfast which was good but after 4 mornings we would have liked a little variety to the set menu. Being on a month long tour of Northern Spain and Portugal we were delighted to be able to park our old MX5 car under cover on site. Information about places to eat would be helpful since we only discovered on our last day a short cut down to an excellent local restaurant. Walking, turn right out of the front of the property and within 5 minutes you will arrive at the Aulvergue la Vargona Restaurant (near the caravan park) we are just sorry that we only discovered their excellent 3 course lunch with wine on our last day. Posada San Pelayo has a nice swimming pool and plenty of comfy sun loungers where we were able to chill out in the sunshine. We were very comfortable at Posada San Pelayo and enjoyed our stay and recommend to others. We hope to return one day.

Casa Cayo is very beautiful and authentic with the best location right in the center of Potes, I had a room with amazing view of the river and the bridges. Staff is super friendly and helpful, breakfast is served with many varieties, it's delicious too, thank you very much!

This hotel has had a very good revamp since I last stayed here. Much more modern and appealing. Breakfast is very good too. Location excellent and motorcycle parking at the rear.

Camaleno was a great base for our trip to Los Picos de Europa. Location was perfect for access to Potes, and also Fuente De. The Gargantua del Cares was a 90 minute drive away, but this was an experience in itself! For people who like the outdoors this was a great pick.
From arrival the staff were excellent . The room met and exceeded our expectations for the price . The room was spacious, clean and had a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Ideal location for walking in the National park or taking the cable car at Fuente de. Ideally located away from the tourist trap of Potes and much better value .
For an extra five euro each we had breakfast which entailed coffee, cakes, toast et al , excellent value again. Would certainly recommend .
Parking is immediately across from the hotel, so convenient .
It is a lovely, clean and very cozy pension located in the village of Camaleno.
It has nice and clean rooms. There is a small and lovely garden where you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the village.
It is only few minutes drive from the town of Potes (supermarkets, restaurants) and around 15-20 mins drive from Fuente De cable car (from where you can easily go up to Picos de Europa's higher altitudes).
You can park your car comfortably outside the pension.
We definitely recommend this place.
Oh my good grief, what a perfect place to stay. We had a room with a view to the mountains and it was so nice just to sit on the balcony on an evening looking out over the fields and nature. The owners were so lovely and the hotel was absolute beautiful, top quality all round. We had breakfast brought out to us on the lawn with white table linen. We both couldn't have asked for more. The pool area is lovely and basically everything about the place, we loved it. If every hotel was run half as good as this it would be great.
A beautiful rural hotel with great views to the mountains and good access to many touristic sights. Antonio and Angela are two very lovely and attentive hosts, always taking the time for personal information about the area, flora and fauna and great hiking advice. Very good breakfast with freshly prepared frisoles, tasty apples from the garden and other regional specialties. Close to Potes with many restaurants and bars.
Loved the completely peaceful setting - quiet and views of the Picos from my window. Also, the pool is simple yet perfect - and again, with mountain views. The family who runs (and owns?) the hotel is so friendly and warm. If your plan is Fuente De, book here at Jisu! Fuente De looks barren except for the cable car.
It is family run hotel with nice atmosphere. We liked the evening food which was tasty and reasonably priced. Location in the valley allows to reach different different spots by car in reasonable time to start trekking.

This posada is really a hidden gem. We surely recommend it, it's beautiful, the garden is nice, the several rooms in the hotel are worth staying, the pool is nice. Very nice place to explore the Picos de Europa. The owners ar so kind and friendly.

Lovely situated at the foot of the mountains, the hotel feels like a cosy home. The staff is nice and helpful and again, make you feel at home. The swimming pool is the best way to unwind after a long day of hiking in the Picos!
Miguel-Angel shared his local knowledge with us; the best walks to do, great viewpoints, and excellent advice on the best weather day to go up Fuente De.

This is a lovely small hotel in a perfect location. It is a good centre for walking in the Picos, and we were given helpful advice on routes. Or you could just sit on the terrace and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
